 + -1 moreI would give them a high rating. They did a follow up service in January to get some kinks out, but they are top notch. Their prices were pretty comparative. They have good customer service. After we had it installed they had to come back out. It wasn't their fault, but they came back 3-4 times and didn't charge for material and labor. It took a week to install. They cleaned most of the mess.
Description of Work: They put in an HVAC in the house that I bought.

Description of Work: After several conversation with other contractors we selected Bryant. They replace our old propane heating/ac system with a new electric heat pump. Replace all the ductwork, controls, and balanced the system. They were very responsive and very professional from the office to the techs to the follow up. Very impressed.

 + -1 moreI bought a house with a 20 year old heat pump with a bad compressor. I called several places and got quotes for a new unit. Bryants were not the cheapest but I have learned the hard way that cheap is not better. They actually came out and measured my house and did a lot of calculations to come up with the right size unit. Others wanted to give me a quote on the phone and some that did come out just looked at the outside unit and wrote down a price. Bryants showed up exactly when they said they would. They went above and beyond what I expected. They fitted the unit in perfect and left no mess at all. Their inspector came back the next day to check and make sure everything was OK. I bought the highest efficency Amana unit and I did have some problems with it which I don't blame on Bryants. Everytime I have called them they were usually here right away. The fan motor burned out in about a month which happens sometimes. I also had a freon leak that was a manufacturing defect but they found it and repaired it perfect. They are very nice people to deal with and do quality work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody.

 + -1 moreOur air was not blowing as cold as previously, they responded within 24 hours and did check our unit out. They added coolant and did some minor repairs and got our air going again. They did recommend that the unit would need to be replaced soon, but they did get it going properly for another season ( which was expected since this unit is 30 years old and we did buy originally from them!!!) The only reason we didn't replace at this time was because we were considering building another house within the year.
Description of Work: Serviced our heating/air conditioning unit and made small repairs. We purchased this unit in the late 1980's and the quality has been outstanding. Would definitely recommend this business to anyone.

 + -1 moreWhen I had them come to clean the unit in Sept, they kept trying to get me to pay for a $4,000.00 new air conditioner at that time and would not take no for an answer. The only reason I called them back is because I felt they had messed up the heat unit and felt they should fix it. I still feel this way, because of the way the tech acted when I refused to buy the expensive thermostat and pay for the installation fee. This company uses the 'hard sell' tactic and will not take no for an answer. The more you tell them no or you can't afford it, the harder they try to get you to buy it, They simply refuse to take give up. i guess they feel they will finally wear you down and you will eventually say yes to get them to go away.
Description of Work: I had them come out in Sept 2012 to clean my forced air gas heat unit. The first cold night the heater would not start, I tried the unit several times over the next 2 weeks, still no heat. I called them to come back and check to see what they had done to mess up the unit. The tech claims I now have a bad thermostat, worked fine for 7 yrs before they came here. The tech tried to get me to purchase one of their units for $118.00 plus a $75. installation fee. I told him I could not afford it, he kept trying to get me to buy the unit and would not take my 'I can't afford the price for an answer.' Talk about 'hard sell tactic'. After trying to get him to understand I would not buy their unit and pay for him to install it for over 15 minutes, I stopped talking and just looked at him and told him to have a nice day, I would buy a less expensive unit at Walmart and put it in myself. He then handed me a bill for $85.00 for a diagnostic fee, and from what he said, even if he had messed up the unit and came to repair it, the company would have charged me this fee. I will never use this company again.
