+ -1 moreI called them for an estimate on 5/4/2014. Chuck and Vickie Aker came out the same day and made several estimates on the degree of insulation to be added. I accepted the higher (R-49) estimate and asked when they could do it. I was floored when they offered to do it the next day, because I have several other jobs still outstanding after literally months of waiting for the work to be actually done. They were exceptionally punctual - they gave me a 30 minute time frame for their arrival for the estimate, and met it. They gave me a time they would arrive to do the work, and were five minutes early (Unheard of at this location.) The job was completed as scheduled, and the area was cleaned spotlessly - even a few stray bits of insulation in the yard were picked up. Vickie told us in detail what they found, what they did to correct it, and answered all queries we had. We could not have been more pleased with this experience!
Description of Work: Insulated a previously uninsulated section of a den ceiling with blown-in insulation and brought entire attic insulation rating from R-26 to R-49. They also fixed a leaking duct and air handler leak, and insulated the attic entrance door with fiberglas.

+ -1 moreAsked for estimate based on square footage measured by another company. After work completed, I was informed estimated square footage was wrong and I would have to pay an additional $400. Soffet vents were covered with insulation and I was told I would have to find a way to clear them.
Description of Work: Additional fiberglass insulation blown in attic order to increase to R-50.
