When I first started with Miranda/Diamond M, she was awesome and very responsive. We had very few guest complaints of housekeeping issues. Through several referrals by me and others, her company experienced a lot of growth. With that, new Managers and other personnel, new policies and procedures, etc... changing all the reasons we hired her: Quality service dropped significantly, housekeeping issues reported by guests became the norm, responsiveness fell significantly and sometimes was forgotten completely and unprofessional, nasty emails when issues were reported followed. They basically told me if I was unhappy they would help me transition to another company. With that being said, they obviously didn't need my business so I and the others I referred found other service providers immediately. They lost site of everything made them good to begin with.
Description of Work: Service went from good for the first six months to terrible. Everything I liked about them changed with the growth of her company.

We were hired by [member name removed] in May 2012, her previous company was going out of business; or so she was told. [Member name removed] was given a discounted rate and was allowed to use her own linens with us just as she had been with her previous company. Our company policies were changed in 2013 to no longer allow owner linen for a multitude of reasons; however she refused to use the linen our company provides and refused to pay an increased cleaning rate for the extra work entailed in handling owner linen. She even made statements that 1 of the referrals she sent us would leave if we made them use our linen; that person never indicated this in any shape form or fashion and she's still with us today. We believe that was a "bullying" tactic for [member name removed] to get what she wanted, her linen in her property and no increase in her $140 cleaning fee. Our normal rate for a condo the size of her's was $175, so she was given a $35 discount per cleaning. We had received a total of 2 other referrals from this client, 1 of which is still with us and very happy and the other referral has moved on for many of the same reasons we informed [member name removed] we would help her transition to another company. There were no nasty emails emails and guest complaints were not always relayed to us at Diamond M, which means we are unable to rectify a problem if not brought to our attention. The same ladies had been cleaning this property for some time and we never received complaints on their work in any other properties they cleaned. Our cleanings are inspected after each housekeeper has completed the cleaning to ensure excellent quality. Cleaning appointments were never missed, any issues that were reported were rectified immediately, management did not change during the time this client was with Diamond M and the only policy change was owner linen. The reason for us informing this client we would help her transition to another service was due to her unwillingness to adhere to our company policies and refusing to use our company provided linen or compensate us for the additional work to take care of her owner linen. As with any business growth brings change and every business must evolve to meet the needs of it's clients. We also understand one can not please everyone, but Diamond M is built on integrity, honesty, fairness and doing what's right.
