Description of Work: Our washer was leaking water and we thought it was a small leak until we moved it to take a look at it!! We contacted them and they showed up the next day. The Technician identified the issue and the part needed. The part arrived earlier than expected and was installed in less than a week. The work was very good, the communication was very clear and we will definitely will use again if needed.

Description of Work: Replaced a drain pump on an electrolux washer.Replaced heaterm on dryer. Okay. But my dryer has a rattle in it now.He didn't know a lot about electrolux appliances.The parts cost too much. Next time I'll just replace them.

Description of Work: Checked the dishwasher and told us that the problem was the computer control. Since the cost for the part is close to the cost of a new machine, we opted to buy a new machine. |Dave (the Tech) was very upfront about the costs, well informed about the problem, and courteous. Would call again.

Description of Work: I had a leaking washing machine. They arrived at my home within an hour of calling on a Thursday morning. A part was needed and ordered. Early on Saturday morning I received a call that they would be out to install the part. I was thrilled and happy as I did not expect to see them until Monday. Very prompt service. The part was installed and washer fixed before I knew it. Very happy with service, promptness! Will definitely use again.

Since they were coming out to repair the washer I had them look at the refrigerator which was making a noise when the motor shut off. The phone representative with Best was very courteous. They were able to schedule an appointment for the same day. We set an appointment time and they kept me informed as to the time of arrival. The technician was very knowledgeable and repaired the washer in a timely manner. The refrigerator did not need repair. I was very pleased with the service and knowledge of the technician and plan to use Best for all of my appliance repairs.

Quickly diagnosed the problem, thoroughly explained what was wrong, discussed cost of repair, got right to the work and was finished in no time. He knew his business for sure. It was an excellent experience. Best Appliance Repair has also done work on my dryer in the past and did a great job then as well.

+ -1 moreDryer was making a loud noise; replaced 4 drum rollers and noise seemed to stop; within 2-3 days, the noise started again; called Best Appliances on Saturday morning, and Dave arrived in less than 2 hours; within an hour he had the problem diagnosed and repaired (the drum belt pulley also needed to be replaced), and he didn't charge for the 2nd trip; this company is awesome, and we will definitely use them again if we ever need appliance repair work!

+ -1 moreMy elderly mother's 40+ year old oven stopped heating (baking). The broiler element heated but not bottom one. Upon removing the element I discovered it was OK but the electrical wire connected to it was badly frayed and would most likely require the fixed mounted oven to be removed to access the rear. She didn't have an appliance repair service of choice so I did the search and found Best Appliance Repairs had favorable reviews. I called them and they responded quickly. I wasn't there but my mother said the repair technician found the problem and repaired it in minutes, without having to remove the oven. She was pleased with the whole experience.

+ 0 moreIce-maker shut down and would no longer produce. Called provider on afternoon of 8/26. Estimator appeared early on 8/27. Spent ten minutes on diagnosis: stripped gears; must replace. Repair conducted that same afternoon. Took less than half an hour. Everyone courteous, efficient, and professional. New ice-maker took two days to break itself in, but we have ice in abundance now. It works more quietly than before. I have no way of knowing if a simpler solution or a lower price could have been found elsewhere, but am quite satisfied with the result. Happy to use this firm in the future.

+ -1 moreBased on Angie's List recommendation I contacted this provider to fix my refrigerator. They were very courteous and timely sending a technician to my home. What I really liked was they did not charge for this visit or the 'estimate'. David, the technician, surveyed my problem and said he would have to research it. He called back about 3 days later and said he was still looking into it. That was the last I heard from him. Subsequently I called another technician that had serviced my refrigerator before. He came out promptly too. At this point I had done a lot of research on my own so was not surprised when this technician told me after he had spent some time talking to Maytag tech reps that the part I needed was no longer available. He gave me some recommendations on what I might do to alleviate the refrigerator problem but said he could not help me. I appreciated his honesty and the fact that he gave me a definite answer and did not leave me hanging. Had David, from Best Appliance Repair, done the same thing I would have saved myself the second technician's visit and the cost and time associated with it. Based on other reviews I might give these guys a second chance but be more forceful with demanding prompt feed back either from the tech or their office.

I called and spoke to friendly and professional gal who stated that someone could be out that same day to look at the refrigerator which needed repair. I was very impressed that they could offer to be there in a matter of hours. I scheduled an appointment for the next morning. The gentleman was on time, courteous, got right to work, immediately diagnosed the issue, called to order the part and said he could be back with it the next morning promptly at 9 am. I was very impressed as I was on a strict timeline myself. The charges were explained and I agreed. He was back the next morning and by the way he called each time before arriving. The part was installed immediately with no wasted time or chit chat. The refirgerator was repaired in excellent working order. In summary, I was impressed with the prompt, courteous service at a fair price.
Description of Work: The refrigerator was repair issue was diagnosed and repaired promptly. A part was determined to be needed, ordered and installed by the next morning. I had been preparing for guests when I noticed that the refrigerator was not cooling properly. I keep a refrigerator thermometer in each of my refrigerators as they are especially necessary in our RV. I got out the phone book and on the internet to call for an appliance repair service. I called around a bit and reached Best on the second or third call. The gal who answered the phone was very personable and even stated that the repairman could possibly come by that very afternoon. I was not able to be at the house that afternoon so I made an appointment for the next day. The gentleman was on time and personable. He diagnosed the issue immediately, which at first I was suspicious of until asking a few questions. He explained how he diagnosed the issue so quickly. I was very impressed. He said a part needed to be ordered. I asked when it would be available and was informed it would be ready the next morning. He gave a me a time he would arrive the next morning with the part. He arrived the next morning promptly at the time stated with the part. He went to work immediately. He told me when to expect the refrigerator to reach the proper temperature with the new part installed. Everything worked perfectly and in plenty of time for my guests. I would recommend this company to anyone.
