That work was done and paid for. one of the workers talked continuously, repeating himself. I understood him to say I needed some repair work on ducts in crawlspace before they could rewrap ducts with new insulation and they did not do that work. I paid them for that day then later talked to the owner who had first looked at job. He said they did do repair work on ducts so I said great come on back and finish. (He had also told me I would be getting almost half my expense back from TVA for my upgrades). Two weeks pass, nothing, I called the owner he said we'll be there next Wednesday, nothing...wait a couple more weeks I call again, yeah he says we'll be there next Thursday, nothing. I'm through with them.

Spoke to the owner, and he was fine- Professional and gave me a good feeling about the work to be done. They had been recommended by TVA. The crew showed up to do the work, the owner was on another job. The weather stripping on one vent was coming off the next morning and I had to call them back to replace it (which they promptly did) and it has not been a problem since. They had to take an outside vent off the house to get insulation in the attic. The owner told me that they would use screws to put it back up so that it could easily be taken off again if we needed to access the attic again. Apparently they did not have a ladder because when I came home to check on the job, one of the crew was standing on my wooden ice chest to get to the cover, and when he put the vent back up, he used a hammer and nails and was hitting the actual vent, putting dents into it. I am not able to inspect anything else that they did because it is all behind walls and under the foundation, but the cursory inspection by TVA passed the work. My utility bills have been lower since this work was done.

I have an older home and was experiencing high electric bills so I had a energy inspection done and found out I had little to no insulation in the house. Insulation works gave me a free quote and did more than expected. I was very pleased with the quality of work they did, the time they did it in and the price I paid. I could not even have bought the materials alone from home depot for cheaper and they did all the work too.
