Description of Work: Emergency! The pump that supplies domestic water plus water for our ground water heat pump stopped working, so we had no water, no ac, and the heat index was over 100. | |Matt from Crouch responded almost instantaneously and worked diligently for two days. Ordered a new pump and got it installed as quickly as he could. | |Found and fixed several things that were wrong with the original installations and could have caused problems in the future. | |Outstanding work and effort.

+ 0 moreThe service arrived at our home on time. The workers are friendly and helpful. They answered our questions with information that explained the problems which existed and their plan for installation and repair. The quickly assessed the situation and began working. Work went quickly and efficiently; no wasted time. Other plumbers/installers who gave estimates said the work would take 3- 4 hours Crouch and Son did the work in 2 hours.
Description of Work: Disconnected and removed damaged water heater from our basement. Installed new water heater in our basement. The removal and the installation was made more difficult by other home systems also being located in the basement. Removed an out-of-date pressure relief valve from another water line. Cut and capped a water line unnecessarily supplying hot water to the upstairs toilet.

+ 0 moreWhen the washing machine was draining, I realized dirty water was coming up through the drain in the bathtub. I called Crouch first thing the next morning. Jeremiah was there within an hour and had the work done in 45 minutes. He snaked the sewage drain and over a week later everything is still working great!

+ -1 moreOn an earlier visit, at my request, they cleaned all lines and the trap to perhaps save my old commode. I liked its style. However, the commode was the problem and only special treatment would clean it. I had that done once before but this time went and picked out a commode and they came back and installed it. I have used them happily for many years.
Description of Work: Cleaned out all pipes and the trap in an effort to be sure my commode was what was stopped up. They returned later and installed my new commode.

Service provider performed job satisfactorially, within expected cost, and in a timely manner. There could have been a little more care taken with the new faucet when installing, but nothing was damaged and everything seems to be working fine.

Description of Work: Well pump had failed. They pulled old pump which was made much more difficult because it had been attached to 65 ft of 2 inch galvanized pipe which, of course, was full of water. It's a kind of unusual operation without a truck with a crane on it - had to use a chain hoist and a 10 ft section of 12 inch pvc pipe. I was impressed with their knowledge of how to perform this operation. 2 days later replaced with a new pump, much lighter flexible pvc. The crew was punctual, very hard working and very nice. This is the second time I've used them, my first very positive review, from about 2 years ago, doesn't show here.

Description of Work: I have a well which supplies domestic water, incl. for the heat pump, start leaking down - the pressure tank would leak down, the pump restart and pump it back up, then it would leak down again, and pipe from well vibrating badly. I had to shut the well off = no water, no heat. Called Crouch & Sons, they sent Anthony and his helper out as soon as they were free.
