I had repaired my chimney from water damage. Did not want to go back with Masonite but the Hardie panels were too heavy for me to install. On the recommendation of a neighbor, I called White Roofing. A estimator was prompt and gave me the same dollar figure I had gotten from several contractors $2000. Install felt, flashing, panels and paint cap. The materials were delivered and the work crew arrived a day later. While they were installing I noticed they had covered up a vent to the gas logs and had not installed new felt as per the bid. They finished after dark and wanted to be paid then. But, I refused saying I would need to inspect the work before I paid. The vent was fixed, but not all of the caulking was finished. On the cricket side of the chimney they had allowed the Hardie board to rest on the roof... which will wick moisture. I had them come out and trim the material to get it off the roof, but they damaged several shingles. During this whole time, I would not pay until everything was fixed. One of the owners came around 3PM and worked until dark fixing all the issues so that I would pay the bill. The cap never did get painted. I was not satisfied with the quality of the work and the way I was treated. I will not be using them again. I have waited to leave a review until my review was without emotion.

I liked the price, promptness and professionalism. They also recommended some construction that none of the others did and I got at least seven other bids before going with them. He removed a cripple that was unnecessary for ventilation and added a ridge vent. He made a smart suggestion and did the carpentry necessary for it. Overall we were very satisfied with White Roofing. He was on time.

We knew it had to be replaced and that was what we asked them to do as we were trying to sell our townhouse at the time. I was satisfied with what they did. We did have an issue when a big rain came in but they paid for everything to be fixed. So that was not a problem, and they were fast about getting it done. I would probably still use them again. They just have a great reputation locally. They weren’t the cheapest.

Elliott gave us a fair and accurate estimate of what had to be done to correct a bad situation created by another roofer. He and his crew were great. They did what they said they would do, how they said they would, when they said they would. We couldn't ask for any better.

Would we use them again and recommend again? YES DEFINTELY!!!!

I was referred to White by my realtor and they were amazing. I had them do a pre-purchase rod inspection of our home and subsequently used them to repair the issues they found. Price was totally reasonable and they are the utmost professionals. We found another roof leak 3 months later and they came out and fixed it for free. I will be using them again for all roofing needs.

We have cathedral ceilings in the entire house except the bedrooms and bathrooms. They had Hispanic workers. David’s son was the foreman and he left the workers here unsupervised. They dropped shingles on the cathedral ceilings and nail heads were all over the ceiling. They didn't do anything to protect my house. They left mud and sand dust everywhere in repairing the ceiling from the damage. Paint had shattered off the nail heads and was all over the place. I told David’s son and he said they got someone out here to fix it, but this resulted in more mess. They came out they did some scrapping and fixing the holes. That wasn’t enough because it needed screws. They did not put drop piles anywhere. David said it’s an older house and we’re not going to put new ceilings in your house and I said I didn’t ask you to put new ceilings in. I just wanted my ceilings the same as they were before they did my roof. We had to battle with them, but they did not pay for the damages to my ceiling or furniture. I didn't ask them to, but they did not pay for cleaning or anything. They should have paid for cleaning because I had expensive rugs and draperies.

Crews were here on time with five workers. Cleaned premises after first day and after job completed. Answered all questions I had.

David S. White Roofing Co., Inc. in Fairfield, Alabama. My experience was fantastic. They were very professional, had a good price, good quality work, they are thorough and cleaned up what fell and followed up well after the project was over.

The company was professional and completed the work as promised during the installation. The problem began when we had a leak approximately two years ago. We called the company at least 4 different times over the period of two weeks. Twice we never got a response and when we did we were told they had other work ahead of us. They would not even give us an estimated time frame for a call back.I told them I was going to make a posting on Angie's List if they did not come out to repair the roof. They sent out two different people the next day, to repair the roof. It took them less than 15 minutes to fix the problem. The roof has recently developed a leak in the same spot. We have called the roofing company 4 times and left messages and not received a follow up call. We also sent a certified letter, since we are close to the end of our 5 year warranty. There was also no response to the letter. We are posting this in hopes that no one else has to go through this frustration to get warranty repair work done.

Overall quality is excellent. They arrived on time and completed the tasks as outlined in our contract. Highly professional. Came back to fix one little drain issue. Would hire them again.

The price was good and the job was done well. I would not use them again because there is absolutely no follow-up. They give a workmanship guarantee but I'm not sure what that's worth since they don't call back. I asked for an extra square of shingles at the time of the job and after calling and writing some shingles were deposited at my home 10 months after the job. A small portion of rotting roof decking was discovered in November of 2011 when I had other work done on the house. I asked a builder who had recommended White Roofing if he would fix the roof and he said it was the obligation of the roofing company to correct the problem. I have called since January 2012 about this and after 5 months Jonathan came out. When I called back to ask when they would fix the decking he yelled at me on the phone and said he had told my husband that they would get to it when they could. 8 months has now passed since my first call in January.

I would highly recommend this roofing company. I'd give them 5 stars.

They are great. They are dependable. They do what they say they are going to do. They stand behind their product. They are very reasonably priced.

They came in, and they were here and the job was done in two and a half day. They were extremely neat, and I think I found three nails and that took some looking. They just did an excellent job. I compared prices and their price was competitive with anybody else. I would use then again in the future.

They did a really good job. I had a positive experience with David S White Roofing Co In. I had no problems with anything they did. Their price was probably high but it was well worth it. I did not really check price with other places. However, I think that their price was reasonable. I did not have to call them back for anything.

Very unprofessional.Way overpriced on work I wanted done. Went with another company. It shouold be noted in May 2006 a new roof ws put on the house. Was charged for two pieces of plywood. but I discovered rotten wood around a vent. Called two times during a 3 year period and was infromed there was no rotten wood. Another roofing company went into attic and infromed me there was water damaged wood. The person stated that it was soft and they should have seen that when they put the roof on.

White roofing had replaced my roof about 3 years ago and did an excellent job, so they were the company I wanted to replace my tornado damaged roof. They actually were able to schedule and complete to job much faster than I anticipated. Same great job and cleanup as the first time. I know it was not an easy job due to the extreme heat. I also needed my chimney cap replaced, and they referred me to a company that specilizes in that.

After incurring stoirm damage I called for repair estimate and was promised a call back. After two weeks I called again, and was promised that my call would be discussed with someone. Since this was not much of a response, and since another week has gone by, I have not called back a third time and do not expect to have any dealings with this company.

I called White Roofing to give me an estimate on repairing my roof. Jonathan White came to my house right on time. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. The work he did is outstanding! The repairs are very clean and well made. We have had a strong, blowing rain since the repairs were done which really put his work to the test. They passed with flying colors! No more leaks! I highly recommend this company, and will use them again, no question.

I thought it was excellent. The owner came out, he was just as professional as he could be. We got up on the roof and looked around, we looked around in the attic, he seemed to be very professional and knew exactly what he was doing. He explained how things would go and the different types of roofing we could get. I was very impressed with him.

They were very responsive, came when they said they would and did the whole job in one day. They completely cleaned up and we've had absolutely no problems, they did a fantastic job. I think their pricing was real reasonable. They were straight forward and gave a real thorough quote without a lot of extras.
