Mr. Bugg’s Pest Patrol, Inc. was established in 1980 and started as a one man business. Over the past 36 years we have grown to 29 employees but maintain our original goal, to make each customer our top priority. David Kellis, the owner, believes in treating everyone with integrity and respect and has gone to great lengths to instill this philosophy throughout the company. The pest control industry recognized this attribute by electing David as the President of the Alabama Pest Control Association in 2005. The company’s General Manager, Susan Taylor, was recognized as continuing this tradition when the Association voted her the President 2015. We always embrace green technology in the use of any pesticides. Whether we are utilizing baits, residuals or some type of trapping program. Some of the brand name products or systems we use, you may recognize such as: Sentricon, Termidor, Arilon, Top Choice, Suspend, Demon, Tempo, etc. We believe that it is most beneficial to our customers to be as diversified as possible in the ongoing battle against pests. Our goal is to free up our customers’ time and manpower by taking care of their pest control needs as well as providing peace of mind by knowing a licensed company with ongoing training is at their service. Locally owned & operated, bonded & insured. Online payment options available. Additional email - contact@mrbuggs.com. Award winning.
"I have been using Mr. Buggs for 3 years for pest control and have been very pleased. I was using another company for my yard, trugreen, and they were horrible. They basically killed my $10,000 lawn. I decided since the pest control was spot on, I would give the lawn service a try. I met with the gentleman and had a laundry list of concerns about my lawn. I waited patiently, because of all the rain, and sure enough he showed up in a timely manner and remembered everything I said and had a plan for it. It truly is great customer service with a feeling that you matter and are not just another dollar sign."

"My deceased dad met Jeff, the owner, about two weeks before he passed away. Jeff came into his home and saw the condition of my dad. Instead of doing a good thing, Jeff obviously spotted an easy mark. Pop paid Jeff $500 as a deposit for work to begin on July 5, 2018. Jeff never showed up! Jeff did come by to collect his remaining $500 on June 28th. Yes, Jeff was paid in full for a $1,000 job that he had no intention of doing. Jeff did not call to report a delay in starting the work. He simply didn't show up. After a couple of weeks (my dad is heading toward death and Jeff was not the priority) my friends in Huntsville attempted to call Jeff and ask why they were not working. Jeff's standard answer was: "Tomorrow." Jeff's word is no good. Many tomorrows came and went. When I traveled from Oregon to Alabama to take care of business after Pop's passing, I met Jeff. He shook my hand, looked me in the eye, and promised me he would complete the job--you guessed it--"tomorrow." Tomorrow passed and I returned to Oregon. Jeff Panzini and Pesky Varmint Removal & Home Repair is unlicensed, unreliable, and 'un-honest.' My name is Ken Wells and I approve this message."

DIY animal removal is rarely a good idea and is not advised for many reasons. First, these types of animals can carry diseases and, therefore, pose a health risk to you, your family, and your pets if mishandled. Second, depending on your city or municipality, it may be illegal to remove or handle wildlife yourself.
Sealing your home against these animals yourself is also a bad idea. Trapping an animal under your house will cause odor and insect problems when it passes away.
Pest control is not the same as animal removal. Pest control specialists treat for insects and bugs, often by using chemicals. Animal removal specialists try to avoid chemicals if possible and instead work to trap and move the animal that's causing problems.
Since each expert has their own removal methods, it's best to contact a pest control professional for insects and bugs and an animal control specialist for other animals.
Animal removal specialists specialize in removing critters and wildlife from in and around your home. These include:
Bats
Birds
Groundhogs
Moles and voles
Opossums
Mice and rats
Raccoons
Skunks
Squirrels
The specialist's method to remove these critters will depend on the animal. For example, groundhogs will be live-trapped and relocated, whereas, for birds, the expert will remove and discard the inactive nest and sanitize the area.
You might be tempted to call your local municipality to remove animals from your property, such as a groundhog burrowing in your yard or raccoons getting into your trash cans. However, they typically only remove domestic animals like dogs and cats from properties, or sick and injured wildlife that pose a public safety risk or health threat, such as a rabid animal. They typically do not capture or remove healthy wildlife.
Animal removal professionals have the tools, knowledge, and skills to trap and remove wild animals adequately and humanely. They also can relocate them correctly.
Professional animal removal costs between $200 and $600 for average homeowners. However, depending on the type and number of critters removed, this cost could range from $85 to $1,400.
This cost does not include the cost of home damage caused by the animal, which could be as low as $300 for minor drywall repair or as much as $15,000 for crawl space cleaning and restoration.
