The person who answered the phone was obviously preoccupied and couldn't care less what my electrical problem was. They also said that they don't service my area. What's up with that, Angie's List? This was the first contractor on your list! An obvious BUTTCRACK! Very dissapointing for a first try with Angie's List!

They did a good job. They came out cleared it up and cleaned it out for us. They've always done a good job and given us honest advice.

He prompt and nice. He did all that work within an hour and half. Also he kept me informed of issues and gave me enough information to make good decisions.Wish all service personnel could be this good. James

Several outlets on the outside and inside bathrooms were not working. A main switch that we did not know about had gone out and they found the switch and fixed it.

They've always been very professional and very ethical. I've always been satisfied with their work.

Showed up on time with all required equipment. While installing the sub panel they discovered a potentially dangerous wiring situation installed by the former homeowner's father( we had just purchased the house). They stopped work and contacted me before proceeding. I came to the house and they showed me the problem, explained possible ways to correct it and all the costs involved. I had them correct the problem which they did for a reasonable cost. They completed the required work in a short time, the installation was neat and they cleaned up thoroughly after themselves . Very satisfied with their work. Would and have recommended them to friends.

fMiller & Humphrey arrived on time & started work immediately. They removed the old unit and proceeded to put in the new one. We were so happy because for the last 2-3 years, at the hottest part of the summer, the unit would freeze up & not cool at all. The men finished & went on to the 2nd work order; fixing our very loose electric outlets.. They repaired those, and were finished. Very personable & friendly men! We were super pleased with their work.

The job was fairly simple. Replaced the PVC pipe and closed it up.

We were on vacation when we got a call from a friend that said she could hear water running but could not find the source. We had her call Miller/Humphrey and they came right out and found the leak. The had to cut a hole in the wall to repair the leak. Then they make sure everything was dry and working properly before leaving.

. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing repairs needed in the home.

They were initially going to install a new fan and found out that all that was needed was a switch. They did a good job and I've used them before, but they're pricing is pretty high in my opinion.

They were outstanding, and the pricing was very fair. I have no complaints. They were real good. Everything was nice and need. They did what they said they were going to do. Everything was cleaned up. I have used them three times and I will use them again.

These guys came out when they said they would and got to work (here is where the good ends) They spent most of their time reading the install instructions that came with the oven. They removed the old oven and informed me acording to the instructions the new one would not fit. They told me I would need to cut my countertops so the new oven would fit. They said they would come back after I widened the space and I would not be charged the call fee again the time would just continue. They were at my house 20-30 minutes MAX. That night my wife and I were able to slip the oven in the space, it just wouldnt slide all the way back so I spent 5 minutes widening the space. The next day after work, (thursday afternoon,) I called them to send the tech's back, I was told they would call me back the next day. Saturday I decided to call them back they informed me they charged extra on saturdays so I set up for them to come out on Monday. Tuesday morning I called them and asked if they could send someone out and they did that afternoon. They spent another 15-20 min finishing the install. I recieved the bill about a month later, (2 days ago,) and found that they had charged me for electrical connectors that came with the oven, $3.50 for a few inches of electrical tape and worst of all 2 hours of work. I called them to ask why they had charged me for 2 hours of work. They were very rude on the phone. They told me that the billing time runs from the time they leave their shop till the time they get back. So if you hire these crooks they will charge you for their tavel time. Call me crazy but their clock should start when they arrive on the job site. Avoid these crooks at all costs. I have never dealt with a more crooked business. I guess I made the mistake of telling them I am military, and they thought I would not be here long enough to report their shady business ethic. Once again avoid Miller / Humphreys. Their corrupt business practices is only surpassed by their rudeness when you call them to discuss your bill.

I had called and requested several electrical and plumbing issues that I needed taken care of. After 3 days of waiting for someone, They finally sent a tech. I was told the work would start the next day, as of yet that work has yet to be done.

Requested an estimate for work to be done. Received estimate which later proved to be the exact cost of the job. That was refreshing. Approved job and scheduled work to be done around MY SCHEDULE. On scheduled date Rob and Jesus arrived at promised time. They worked quickly to trench and bury cable in conduit being run to detached workshop. I told them that the home sewer drain pipe crossed the proposed trench. They said they would dig-out that area by hand (and they did). Sewer pipe was not touched. They had to cut back a very large bush to reach the workshop wall. They did a great job on the bush and even told me how I could maintain the shrub in a good trimmed condition. The installation for the circuit breakers and wiring in workshop went quickly. They finished by adding the special 50 amp outlet with added circuit breaker box to the outside of the workshop for the motor home connection. All this was accomplished in about 5.5 hours. Rob and Jesus were very friendly and went to great lengths to ensure that I was happy with their actions every step of the way. They are real pros.
