Spa guy came out to fix the spa. He was assigned by the home warranty company that I went through to have the service done. He couldn't come out for a week from when he was contacted. And when he did finally show up, he wouldn't even take the panel off of the spa to have a look at the problem (which is with the heating of the water) because he said that the electrical set up of the spa was not standard and he didn't want to be held liable for it being non-standard, which he said he could be liable if he pulled the panel off. So basically he came out, took the $65 deductible that I pay for using the home warranty, said a few words, and walked off doing absolutely no service. A few months later, after finally finding the time to have the electrical setup done as he said it should be, I called him to come out and service the spa. Again he said he wouldn't be free to come out for a week. Only this time that week came and went and no call from him. TWO weeks later, I finally called him and left a message to which he replied no less than a week after that. So a total of THREE weeks passed between the second call and the second visit. The second visit was very similar to the first, he found another problem with the electrical and said he couldn't work on it. This time I didn't give him any money but just shook my head in disbelief and sent him on his way. Admittedly, I can't fault him for the second problem he found with the electrical set up. But his attitude is one of total reluctance to help or do anything for me. He offered no advice, no solutions, and just left me scratching my head. The worst part of the whole experience was his unbelievable unpunctuality.
Description of Work: I needed repairman to fix my spa. It wasn't heating the water. Probably just needed a new heating element installed. I still don't know for sure. He didn't do the service. Read below.
