Mr. Clean Handyman Service

John, owner of Mr. Clean came to my house and quoted, in a text, repairing a leak in my Roof and Fireplace. Sent someone out a few days later and was told the repairs were complete. Rain 2 days later, same leaks. Same person came out a week later, again told the leaks were found and repaired. Next rain, same leaks. Tried calling and texting John for 2 weeks and he would not respond. Had to contact using another number to get him to answer and he promptly told me "He was not doing work for free" and hung up on me! The most Unprofessional company I have worked with........... Roof and fireplace still leak so I will contact a professional to complete the work. I would not recommend this company!!

Work was completed quickly even with rainy and cold weather days. The quality of construction and materials used was very good. Employees responsible and easy to work with. Work site cleaned up of all old and unused materials.

During sale inspection, the inspector was able to push screwdriver thru rotten wood on gables. I emailed Mr clean, and asked if they had checked for bad wood, as I asked them to, he stated no only cleaning and painted. $400.00 for about 30 minutes of painting over rotting wood, unacceptable.

Good, work was performed as requested. Did not understand the overhead/profit on the bill.

Mr. Hudson is very nice and professional. After some communication issues, it took a little longer to resolve my roof issues than I was expecting but he and his son did great work. We have had 3 hard rains since the repairs and no leaking inside.

Excellently. John was totally professional and did everything he said--and within budget and on time. He is friendly, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend him. Here is the real bottom-line: John did a number of different jobs, including repairing a door that was leaking, for $3000. Earlier, I had had a Lowe's representative look at the door; he informed me the door was beyond repair and offered to sell and install a new one for $14,000!!!! I'll go with Mr. Clean every time!!! Additionally, when I was having a leakage problem prior to the door being fixed--and it was delaying installation of a floor I had purchased, John made a special trip to my house on Saturday morning just to help out. Now that's service!!

The crew showed up a little late, but we were having a terrible snow and ice storm that day. They were having trouble getting here due to the roads. Upon arrival, they quickly scraped the bedroom ceiling and retextured it . I had another water stain in the living room which they also sprayed some paint on. You cannot even tell that the ceiling was ever damaged in the bedroom. I noticed that the stain in the living room is sort of coming back. I have not called them, but they told me that if it came back, they would come back and put another coat of paint on it. I will call them today.

We saw water spots on our bedroom ceiling. We called several roofers and none of them showed up to look at it. I joined Angie's List and found Mr. Clean. He came out and inspected the roof and told us that a couple of our boots had holes in them. He immediately fixed them and now our roof no longer leaks. He impressed us so much that we actually hired him to come back a week later and fix the water damage to the ceiling in the bedroom. He charged us $150 to fix the roof, which we thought was fair.

We obtained 4 total estimates and we chose Mr. Clean Handyman Service, John Hudson. This was a complex job with the old windows having to be cut out as they had brick molding around them. Mr. Hudson not only, had the best price by far, he made suggestions that were helpful in our choice of windows. He finished the windows with very nice molding and left everything is great shape afterward. He was on time and while here, assisted by repairing additional problems we had with a toilet and a leak in the roof. He takes pride in doing an excellent job and I especially value the judgment he showed in making helpful suggestions to help save us money. I will definitely hire him again!

It was awesome. We were in constant contact since this was being built while I was in Florida.

Owner and sons do the work. Owner always on site and closely supervises quality of work, which is always excellent. Always clean work area when done and remove all limbs, boxes, packing, etc. as well as old a/c that was replaced. Very prompt and reliable with service schedule. Customer service is excellent. I live in a very isolated area and do not have workers at my home unless husband will be home. Mr. Clean is the EXCEPTION. They are very nice, well mannered, and non-threatening so I am very comfortable with them here. This is very important to me.
