He kept me informed as to what he found, what needed to be replaced, and what he was going to request, and he even went above and beyond to stress that it was imperative to get the A/C working at my house due to a bedbound parent with a broken hip. However, I informed the individual that I had two other bids that were to be submitted and I would call back if his bid was the best one submitted. This time his bid was not accepted. Bid of $75 service visit and $25 pound for Freon. The average 3 ton unit can require from 6 to 12 pounds of Freon to fully charge. I based bid on 6 pounds. I will consider this individual for future hires."
