Terminix - Dothan -Termite & Pest Control

Technicians installed traps around house but didn't put them all low enough in the ground to prevent damage from lawnmower. A number of the traps have been damaged or destroyed by my lawnmower, but I can't get them to come back and repair or replace them. Seems like once they got their money they didn't really care about maintaining their work.

They did a fair job.

I have not seen Terminix at my house in a while. They wanted me to upgrade to a more efficient service and all this stuff. It costs me a pretty good amount of money to change over what they initially had done to this new service. They said this will save me so much money in the long run and it will cost me $150 per year after this was done. The first bill I got was, like, $300 and something dollars. I paid the bill, but then I called them to really complain about it and I said I felt like I was misled on this. They said they could not do anything about it this year because I had already paid the bill, but next year if I get a bill like that again, call them before I paid it and they would adjust it. I got another high bill the next year so I called them and they adjusted it down to about $230. Now every year I get the bill and I have to call them to get them to adjust the bill. I think why is this happening? Their service is way too high. they are out here a total of 10 minutes. I have never had to use them for any claims or anything. To get the first termite bond it costs $1,000 so I am kind of stuck with this company because I don't want to pay for another first time bond with another company. They know this so they really do kind of jack you around a little bit. I stopped using them for my pest control. When we built this house new I asked them to come out and treat around the foundation before the house was built but they did not come out and said they had no record of an appointment even being scheduled. I don't know if they ever came out to do this work.

They are there on time. First thing they ask is have I noticed something different on the inside or the outside. They do their job even if I don't have to be there to watch them.

It went horrible they did not provide what was promised, they sold us the wrong product, they never came out to provide a termite bond. they told me i didnt need a termite bond just need a termite letter. They still have 1000.00 of our money and they wont give us the bond and they wont give us the money back either.

They are not intimidated by the dog in the backyard. If they see something outside, they'll come and spray again.

I had seen him at a local fare. I met him there and I talked to him and he called shortly after that and set up an appointment and came out and did treatment for the house. We live in a very rural area and there are other things that are prevalent in the woods. I have a very large house and he was very thorough and very professional.

He told us that their prices have gone up and the monthly fees are going to be $94. When we bought this house they already had a yearly contract with Terminix for termites so we just kept going with them. We have stayed with them really because of the person who comes out and does the spraying for us.

They were very nice. I think they did a good job. They are reputable. They came when they were supposed to. I guess they did the best they could, but they never did get rid of my mice. The bug control was good and I had no problems with that. We just couldn't seem to get rid of the mice. I don't know if it was their fault or not, or if where we were living was so mouse infested that they just couldn't get rid of them. We have a continuing problem with mice. We decided to move because we got tired of living with mice infestation. I would use Terminix again, if I needed to.

I was satisfied with their services.

I have been with them for over 20 years and the only reason I am with them is that they did the initial inspection of the house and I have just stayed with them; I have a contract with them. There is nothing really outstanding about them. I will continue to use them but I don’t recommend them.

They were less expensive than the other companies. They could do the termite control without drilling holes, and doing too much to the foundation. They were prompt, and professional. I would use their services again.

They dont bother you. They just come and do their job and go.

I feel they do a really good job. They come out every quarter or every 6 months to do the maintenance. The only thing that concerns me is because of the spiders here and the only thing they can do is get rid of the nests. But sometimes they miss them, so I feel they could do a little better job on that. Otherwise, They are very thorough and if we ever need them any other time they come out and there is no charge for that.

It costs about $265 a year and that is all they offer for that. They do offer other things but the last time I talked to them they claimed that they don’t go in the house and spray around the inside of the house and that is the only complaint I have. It has been a year since I started using them. I just carried on the contract from the previous owner. I haven’t shopped around, so I can’t grade them on price. I would use them again in the future.

It’s been a good experience. They come out regularly and bill me so I don’t have to worry about it.
