MAIDS OF THE WIREGRASS

We hired this lady again before Thanksgiving to clean my mom's home. I spoke to Amy on the phone and asked that she call the day before to confirm coming, but I did not get a call from her like she promised. I've called several times but did not get her and I left one message telling her that I hoped to see her the following morning as promised. The next day she never showed or called. I called several times throughout the day trying to find out if they were running late like the first time they came but she never picked up her phone. There was no way to leave another message as her voice mail box was full. She never called or showed! EVER! Not one phone call to explain why she never showed up and left us in such a lurch! This was very upsetting to my mom! Such a disappointment as the first time we met her and her assistant they did a pretty good job and were very polite. They had received other previous bad reviews but we decided to try them and the first time it was okay. However, their "no show - no call" un-professionalism required me to report our second experience as a warning to potential customers. Beware! If your need for housecleaning is for an important party or get together, look elsewhere for help; we were really left in a lurch by these folks.

I had a concern due to another review saying they did not show up, but that was not my experience. They were late arriving due to have another house to clean first and forgot my number so they could not call me to let me know they were running late. I was a little put off with that, but then who has not forgotten that important piece of paper with a number on it? I know it happens to me far too much on occasion. :) Over all I enjoyed my experience with them and have rehired them for this week for another in depth cleaning before the Holidays. I will re-post after this cleaning with a follow up experience with the Maids of the Wiregrass.

Same experience as the first reviewer. Not reliable. Said would come and never did. This was my second time to employ them. What a strange company.

I called them I don't know how many times in the past and never could get ahold of anyone. I would leave a message and never get a call back or call again and get a message on the voicemail saying the mailbox was full. Finally, they called me back and gave me an estimate over the phone and set up a day to come and clean my home but they never showed up. When I called to see what happened I, of course, could not get an answer. The same as before, left a message with no response or a full voicemail. When they called back I gave them another shot and they showed up this time. They cleaned my home top to bottom with only minor things missed. I ask to be put on a regular schedule and they have been cleaning my home every other week for only about three months and though the service is satisfactory I'm getting tired of not getting cleaned on my regular day or time. They are not reliable or easy to get up with. If you are more patient than I have at it!
