CUSTOM GLASS DESIGNS

I was not initially pleased with the work that they did. After 3 contacts with them they finally took care of the problem. The first job, that I ended up paying for, was not correct. I called them and they wouldn't come out. Then my wife called and talked to the elder there, and he said to bring the door to him. I removed the stained glass door and took it to him. In about a week's time he called and said it was ready. When I went to pick it up, it was fixed in a way that I had suggested to his son, but his son didn't want to fix it. The job the son did was unacceptable because he had a metal bar stabilizing the window. I told him that it didn't look good and he wouldn't correct it or take off the metal bar that he put on there. It was the father, the elder man, who finally fixed the problem, but they still charged us. It cost me originally $300 and then an additional $250 after I took the door down there to get it fixed right. They charged me almost double to get if fixed. They are the only game in town, you can't find anybody to do stained glass in this area. We had to take a chance with them but we did end up getting it fixed when we took it down there. They showed up on time when they came here the first time. They did A work the second time and F work the first time. If my stained glass broke again I would have to take it to them, but if there was another company in the area I would take it to the other company. The older guy was good but the younger guy was not, he did have a good work ethic.

He came out as scheduled and evaluate the my cracked stained glass on my entry door and determined, I think wisely so to, to come back at a later date to remove stained glass door and transport it to his shop for repairs. He returned promptly on the agreed upon date and time. The stained glass door was reinstalled but I did not like the work. He had placed an obtrusive looking piece of rebar on the door and he insisted that this was a best practice throughout the industry. I explained to him that I would be happy if he'd just remove the rebar and cut it in half lengthwise or if that was not possible he could just remove it for good. We had an agreement for him to come back when he was in the area. Unfortunately my lawnmower had thrown an object through the window and broke the stained glass real good this time. So I called Mr. Grayson to schedule him to come out and he said that he was too busy. He promised to call back but it has been at least a month since he made the promise.
