Bob Woodall Air Care Systems

These two technicians, on two different occasions, came out to address the problems of my household. They both carried themselves with a great sense of professionalism and expertise seldom seen in today's economic environment. They were both very respectful of the property, the animals in the house, etc. The second time they came out, they did not charge a service visit as the totality of the issues were not addressed yet. I cannot say enough for the technicians that were sent to this residence. If Bob Woodall stands behind employees like this, then the company will continue to garner the reputation they well deserve in the Dothan, Alabama area. My hat's off to a great job and we look forward to doing all of our HVAC work with Bob Woodall, as long as the work ethic and prices remain similar to this job! Thanks again!

I have never waited more than a day for service from Woodall's. They reply quickly to phone calls, and they make service calls quickly. This is especially true when we have had problems beyond service calls. The only downside was buying a system from them was very costly, so we went with another provider. As far as service and the cost of service though, I always call Woodall's first because I know I can depend on them to give me great service at a fair price.

They come out and inspect my unit. Make sure it is running smoothly. They come out a few times a year.

Responded as promised. Very professional and explained options available. Take the time to clear everything and cleaned up after job was completed.

When purchasing another home in 2012, requested seller have Bob Woodall service the heat pump before closing on the house and they did and provided a report on the condition of the unit; and the seller paid the cost. Will continue to use Bob Woodall's. Also, have used Bob Woodall's for about past10 years to do regular maintenance on the heat pump in another home with very satisfactory results. Once had a leak and the tech tightened some loose screws/bolts and said the tech who had performed the maintenance should have checked those items and the company did not charge full price for that service visit. They advise you in advance about potential issues with your system, such as when you may need to consider replacing parts, and etc., and cost estimates.

They were great to work with. Woodall's did our duct work and installed a new Lennox system in our new home. The duct work was excellent, we are very happy with it. The new unit works perfectly and we were very impressed with the professionalism of the installers and the people we spoke to in the office. We are confident that our new Lennox system is the best that we could have purchased for the money.

I chose Woodall Air Care to come out and install a new A/C system in my home. The problems started immediately. Usually, when the unit would "try" to start up, it would make a series of knocking sounds. Sometimes after the series of knocking sounds the unit would come on. Sometimes it would have to go through several cycles of knocking sounds before it would come on. I have counted over 25 knocks in some of these cycles and I was awakened every night by them. Also, when the unit would cut off, it would make a strange braking sound, which I was told was normal. I didn't like the sound but I could accept the possibility that it may be within the range of a normal, albeit obnoxious, sound for a new type of motor. The knocking sound, however, was ridiculously outside of the range of sounds that any consumer could find normal or acceptable. I repeatedly contacted Bob Woodall Air Care regarding my concerns. When the technicians came out, the #%$@ unit would not make the knocking sounds! They just kept explaining to me how it had to spool up to start and then brake to stop. I clearly understood that, but, what I was describing was something else completely. Then to add insult to financial injury, they told me I was just "overly sensitive to noise." Finally, it made the knocking sounds when one of their technicians was here. He got on his cell phone, called somebody and said "It sounds like someone is trapped in the closet knocking on the door to get out." Hallelujah, at last they heard the knocks and would fix the problem! NOPE. They installed a new motor, which made less frequent, fewer in the cycle, and quieter knocking sounds but still was not normal. I was so exasperated that I finally just lived with it. UPDATE 5/29/13-- In August of 2012, after being notified by Angie's List, that they had received a negative review, Bob Woodall Air Care called me to apologize for my dissatisfaction. They informed me that those particular motors, while efficient, were not practical because of the noise that they made. I do want to make it clear, that in no way was the loud knocking sound it made, sometimes 25 times or more, a noise that could be considered normal or acceptable in any reasonable person's book. I am not overly sensitive to noise, as was suggested by their technician. This remains the only negative review I have ever posted. They were polite and made an appointment to install a new motor. After several months trial period, this one has not made a knocking sound and I have not been awakened intermittently during the night as I was before. I have had no further issues with this air system. I am glad that they eventually made it right, although, I regret the stress I endured having initially felt ripped off and then insulted. At least I no longer have a sick feeling when ever I see a Bob Woodall truck.

His service is regular. They keep their appointments in a timely manor.

They do a good job. They are on time. They are definitely responsive and punctual. They are very professional.

It was fine. The young man came in and he sort of fluttered around. Change the filters and vacuumed. He serviced the outside heat exchangers. He checked out the thing in the attic. He said everything was fine. He worked a little bit and he was gone. We have two units one for the upstairs and one for the downstairs. This also included the filters and labor. He vacuumed the ducts. I have no complaints. The price was nothing that I could compare with.

They were very prompt in their response to my call, came out, gave me a very fair quote and showed up to install my new unit immediately. The two young men that installed my unit, Jeremy and Joseph, were very courteous, polite and respectful. They did a great job of making sure I understood how my new thermostat worked, explained the warranty thoroughly and did a great job over-all. They were so careful in keeping their work area neat and clean and would not even walk in my house without their shoe covers on to make sure they didn't track up my floors. When they left you could not see any evidence that a major job had been done here that day. I would highly recommend Woodall's and certainly these two wonderful young men to anyone. After the issues I had dealt with from another company, it was wonderful to do business with someone I knew I could trust. It is hot in Southeast Alabama, but I am cool and comfortable and feel good knowing that the company I chose to do business with will be there should I ever need them. Once more, hats off to Jeremy and Joseph for being such dedicated young men taking so much pride in their work. That's seems to be hard to find these days.

I called them to fix our air conditioner and they sent someone out and fixed it. I would definitely use their services again in the future.
