lawn mower repair

Description of Work: Needed a tune up and fuel filter for a chainsaw. Was informed that a deposit was required which I understood. After checking back several times and being told the repairman was out for about a month I was told that they could not repair the saw but there would be a $25 charge for looking at it. I was not pleased with the service I received.

lawn mower repair
+ -1 moreDropped it off about July for repair - did not get a ticket (all data was put directly into a computer). Called a number of times and was never able to talk with anyone. Finally in Oct, I got through and was told the machine was repaired and had been waiting to be picked up. When it was picked up, the machine was filthy and covered in some form of dirt/grease mix since it had been being stored outdoors. Got it home and machine is repaired and works fine. It was just the lack of customer service and feedback that concerns me.
Description of Work: Repaired Power Washer which had a fuel leak - had to rebuild the carburetor

lawn mower repair
+ -1 moreEvery time we called or went in we were told something different and usually incorrect. The two times I was in the store, there were two or three people behind the counter not working. Very dirty and unprofessional.
Description of Work: This company picked up my mower. When we hadn't heard from them in TWO weeks, we called. We were then told a part was bad and that they were ordering the part, but it should be in the next day and they would "throw it on" and get it back to us. A week later I went into the store to be told that it had just come in that morning and they would deliver it the next afternoon. Two days later, they finally brought my mower back.

+ -1 moreThey finished the job in one week and called us when it was ready. They replaced the knob and the lawn mower works great.
Description of Work: We have an old lawn mower which needed a tune-up. It also had a broken knob. They gave an estimate of 2 wks to complete the work.

+ -1 moreThey could call me when whatever I brought in is ready. A lot of times I call to see if it's ready and they say it is when they could've just called me.
Description of Work: Peddler Lawn did some work on my lawn mower. They sharpened the blade and did a tune-up.
