Description of Work: I called Barett's several times to come and pick up some furniture to be repaired and they would say they would come in a few days and would call me first but never came or called. After calling them three times I gave up.

Description of Work: We had an antique in-laid dining room table that dates back to the early 1930's. In our most recent move, one of the pedastal legs was damaged. We called Barretts and they came within two days and looked at the table and damaged leg and said they felt confident they could fix it. They took the one Pedastal with the damaged leg on Friday, April 13. They returned the finished product and attached the leg to the table the following Tuesday. I would recommend them to anyone. Excellent service, fair price and quality work.

+ -1 moreDresser mirror was broken in our move to Alabama. Called Barrett's, he came out, looked at it, said he could fix it, and took the piece to his shop. Three days later he delivered it back to my house. Great job! I would definitely recommend this company.
Description of Work: He came out and looked at the mirror that attaches to my dresser. He told me he could fix it and took the piece with him. Three days later, he returned the mirror. He did a fabulous job fixing the wood pieces that were broken off of it. You really have to look to see his work.

+ -1 moreBarretts did a beautiful job on each piece of furniture. I was most impressed with the dresser that had a lot of carving. It was unbelievable how all the paint in the deep grooves were gone. I would most certainly use them again and highly recommend them to others.
Description of Work: Barrett's has refinished 3 pieces of furniture for me- a small table, a dresser and a cedar chest. The pieces had been painted several years back. One had intricate carving. The paint (several coats) were removed and the pieces stained.
