We just poured our slab in April and noticed a huge crack in the slab. We built the house on clay soil and on a hill, so not too surprised. We had a different foundation company come out and (due to a very aggressive sales pitch) decided to look around for a different foundation company. So glad I did. Allied came out and gave us the bid, no sales pitch or aggressive follow-up calls. I was not prepared for such a huge expense, but they really worked with me and we worked out a way to make financing the piers doable. We ended up needing 18 helical piers. They came out two weeks later, and over 3 days got all the piers in and cleaned up the area around the house. The owners Dad was there every day and a crew of around 5 guys worked extremely hard and did a fantastic job. Very nice guys. The job couldn't have gone any better. Highly recommend.
Description of Work: 18 helical piers put in due to house slab built on clay soil.

Description of Work: Excellent Service. We had to have 2 Helical piers installed to add support to the back of our house. Someone came out to give an estimate the day after I called to get information and they were able to complete the job within that week. The crew that came out to do the work was very polite and did a great job. Very pleased with the service performed.

Disappointed and frustrated, but just have to more on... The process started in July with an estimate from a prompt representative. Turns out he did not estimate correctly. Work was done two weeks later based on the estimate. Holes for the metal lifts should have been 6 ft apart, they were dug at 8 ft...so, there was very little change on the first visit. I had to pay the $1600 that day. I asked for the owner or supervisor to come down. He came two weeks later. He set the appt for 7:30 Saturday. He showed at 9:15. This was a rental house which I had to drive to or that would not have been a big issue. He made excuse, after excuse. That is reason for the professionalism score. He never apologized for the inconvience or made me feel as though he would ensure this was done correctly. He did say the estimator was fired, which again was not a professional response. His team was made up of very hard workers. It is hard work. It appeared though no one was licensed in foundation or structure issues, or so it seemed. This went on two more times with a final visit on Sept 30, 2015. Again, the supervisor did not come. It would have be good to have a final visit from someone licensed in the business. The workers, I had 5 different ones, were respectful though and I did understand they were coming from Decatur. One side of the floor is level, the other side is not. Although off just a small amount , the fact that an appliance sits in that space causes the issue to stand out. To get the floor level, it meant the door has to be slightly off. I have no doubt the wall is secure. On the last visit, an employee who had only been there 5 months said, "ma'am I am sorry that you you are not satisified". It was the only time the company made a reference to the work, and I really appreciated his sincere comment. I did get three estimates to start this process in July. All three were fairly close in price range although all three had different approaches. I regret now going with the "slightly" less expensive estimate. All three indicated this was a very common issue and correctable.
Description of Work: Tried to level a floor with a load bearing wall.

Allied Crawlspace Solutions was one of several companies we contacted who specialized in eliminating excess moisture in crawlspaces. Most of the companies recommended encapsulating the crawlspace, which included installing French drains around the inside perimeter of the foundation wall, installing a dehumidifier (or venting our HVAC to the crawlspace), and installing a sump pump. Allen Johnson of Allied Crawlspace was the only contractor who offered other, less expensive, options. He presented proposals for encapsulation, installing French drains and a sump pump without encapsulation, and installing drain lines on the gutter downspouts. After discussing pros and cons, Allen suggested the French drains but said he would be glad to implement any of the solutions. My wife and I decided to start with the least expensive option, installing the drain lines on the downspouts. The crew arrived on time and worked hard all day, but they left trash in the yard, tracked mud on our driveway and porch, and failed to smooth out the dirt after filling in the trenches. They also buried part of one drain line too close to the surface. When a hard rain came, we discovered that water leaked from a poor connection on one downspout. Allied resolved all of these problems. They sent a crew to clean up the yard and re-bury the exposed drain line. When we called about the mud stains, they sent a crew to pressure wash. After a few more calls, they sent a crew to re-work the leaking connection. We wish the initial crew had done a better job and that the office staff had been easier to work with when we requested these problems be addressed, but otherwise we're satisfied with the work performed by Allied. We would use them again.
Description of Work: Installed drain lines on all gutter downspouts to take water away from the foundation and to relieve flooding in the yard. Drain lines were installed in hand-dug, sloped trenches. The lines dump water from the gutters into the drainage ditch at the rear of the house.

All work was done within one week. Very professional. Looks great. Glad I called them.
Description of Work: Fixed sagging foundation, did mold remediation and a complete encapsulation of our crawl space. They had to place two helicals under South East corner of our house. When finished they remortered brick with a hard to match red morter. Very satisfied with all services. They provided us with lifetime warranty contract, 150.00 a year that is transfereable.

Our house failed inspection during a home purchase and I immediately called Allen at Allied Crawlspace Solutions who showed up the next day, identified the problem, offered a solution and provided a quote. Initially he asked for $4100 because he had to drill through some extended footers. We asked him for his best price and he lowered it to $3550. Once contracted the crew showed up the next day and was immediately met with some challenges because as it turned out there were 8 footers to bust through versus the 4 he had originally quoted. He never asked for anymore money. They completed the work in 6 days. They said it normally takes 2 days, but the footers caused a huge delay. They also spent an additional 2 days doing nothing but replacing the vapor barrier and cleaning up under the house. They did a fantastic job! The sump pump that was installed with the EZ flow is working flawlessly and I can tell an immediate difference in the fact that we now have now water under the house. That is remarkable considering there was standing water 6 days ago. I am very satisfied with the work. The team all had a great attitude and were very patient with me as I asked questions and made recommendations on cleaning up. Although it was an expensive repair it was worth every penny! Strongly recommend these guys!!
