Fence/Gate replacement is what I hired Matt to do, his workmanship and laser focus exceeded my expectations. Matt removed the old fence/ gate, discussed remodel, to have gate swing opposite of existing and went to work. Clean work area, quick replacement and now, no more issue. I highly recommend Matt for his focus, communication skills ( explain the why behind the fix) and speedy action. We already have a bigger project this Summer for him and look forward to that job!

I needed a section of wooden fencing replaced. Matt (and his crew) were punctual from the initial consultation through to job completion. The estimate for the project was spot on and no â surprise costsâ popped up. His crew was polite, respectful and talented. Even when he was involved in another project and was not on site, he either personally stopped by to monitor the work or called us to see if we were pleased with that dayâ s progress. This company is unparalleled in their work ethic and they will be the first company I will call for future work.

Matt was very professional and did an excellent job on this project, very thorough and close attention to detail. Matt and his crew completely removed old sheds and debris from the property. The fence and gates were constructed in a timely fashion. Matt removed an old deteriorated fence and installed a new fence and 5 gates. Matt tore our old, badly deteriorated fence and installed a new one. He had to deal with the rain but completed the whole project in 2 days. Solid job done very well. He reminds me of myself in my younger days - he likes building things and finishes what he starts, even though he does this mostly by himself. I highly recommend this company and we are very likely to higher them again for another project. Last but not least: he won our trust. I generally do not like paying contractors 50% up front, but did not have a problem doing this with Matt.

This is not a huge, chain-like, corporate operation without a face. If you are looking for that, you will be let down. Reliable, ethical, honest, knowledgeable, and timely. All words I would use to describe my experience with Matt at Big Bog Fence and Home Improvement. Had 3 fences that were destroyed by a hurricane taken down and new fences installed. Matt kept his word and did everything he said he would. He also kept me informed throughout the process. Plan on hiring him to do other things around the outside of the house. Update 6-15-2021. I hired Matt to demo and completely rebuild a retainer wall that was destroyed during Hurricane Sally from where a huge oak tree fell on the house. He and his men did an exceptional job and the wall looks fantastic. Could not be more pleased with his honesty, research on retainer walls, and communication skills. Will hire again.
