We contacted the owner, Bob, for a competitive bid to install a wooden shadow box privacy fence, as the original estimate we had was from our home builder and we wanted to see if it was fair. Bob came in a fair bit cheaper, and said he could get it done before the original company. A representative visited our house the following week to perform/deliver an official estimate, and we were given a 4 week estimate. However, we didn’t get the fence until 8 weeks, but PLEASE take that with a spoon of sugar. Houses in our area are going up overnight; the real estate market is soaring. From my understanding, ALL fencing companies were swamped. Furthermore, there were weather delays. Bob, in an attempt to complete our fence as timely as possible, put all of his builders on our project. All of his employees were nice, accommodating/professional, and left our yard as clean as it was when they began work. The fence looks amazing. I’m a perfectionist (literally by trade), and I haven’t found a flaw yet in their work. The boards are consistently staggered, and the tops are even, perfectly paralleling the different elevations in our yard, and rolling smoothly from the highs of the yard to the lows. I don’t recall how many linear feet of fencing we had installed, but our lot is just under an acre, and we had a double gate to one side of the house, and a single gate on the other. I would provide pictures, but I cannot get the pictures to upload as I took them with my phone. Therefore, they have a .jpeg format, and this site wants a .JPG. I really wish I could upload these pictures to show the pure perfection of the job.

They were prompt answering the request for an estimate. They showed up and did the work in two days as guaranteed. The gate bracing they installed was perfect. It will last forever. They cleaned up their mess. It was a great experience.

It was completed in a timely fashion at a very great price! Bob is super easy to deal with and he has a nice crew working for him also!!

Bob delivered what he promised. They were on time and worked until the job was complete. the fence looks amazing!

I called several times and left a message and to this day no one has called back. I guess they must have plenty of work since they can't even return a phone call.

The fence we purchased was a commercial quality 48" black aluminum fence round 3/4 of our back yard with a locking, self-closing gate. A high quality 6 ft white vinyl fence and locking, self-closing gate faces the front yard. The quality of the materials is top notch and worth the extra expense. The warranty is excellent. The installation was top notch as well. BUT before the work was done we had trouble getting in touch with the owner in order to get the estimates and order the materials. He wass slow to return calls, even slower to get to your property, and the special order materials came in two weeks later than the date we were told. Not knowing this in advance made us lose our patience. It was unprofessional. But I would still recommend this company given the END RESULT. A year later we are loving our beautiful fence. None the less, if you are in a hurry this may not be the contractor for you. If the company has what you need in stock, and once you get the estimate, it may go more quickly for you. It was a surprise to us they didn't know Florida code for pool fences nor did they keep the less costly fence to meet the minimum code in stock.

Called for an estimate and owner (Bob) came over promptly and gave me a competitive estimate to tear down and replace fence with the caveat that he could not get to me for two weeks,..... Well it is now FAR past the two weeks,(6) and promises to be there ("even if I have to do it myself ,,_I'll be there!!,) have failed to materialize...so today ,I fired him and hired as someone else hopefully more dependable!!

Was very smooth. Took a bit of time since they were really busy and then had to order the special parts but once done was a fabulous job.

After a week of back and forth scheduling I finally got an estimate from this guy. We set an approximate date for him to come out and replace a 38 foot section of my fence. He did not show up so I contacted him and re-scheduled a date. Again, a no show. One more time I called and re-scheduled an installation date. Again a no show. I ended up going to a large hardware establishment and contracted for them to do the work. Surprise surprise; the big box hardware store did the work for 37% less than was quoted by Baldwin County Fence Company. Be careful if you deal with this company.

Everything went great. Due to the wet weather it took a couple of days to get the job done but I am pleased with the results.

He was nice, but his estimate was just high. Everything was fine except for the price.

Of the seven quotes I received from various companies for the fence work, Baldwin County Fence Co. was one of the most expensive.

They did a good job .

We were extremely pleased with this company. They came out on Wed the 14th and cut down and hauled away the old fence. They put in the new posts. On Friday the 15th , the fence was up. It is an excellent job. The guys were extremely nice and very accommodating. They even helped my neighbor out. with a problem. I would definitely use this company again .

Everything went as scheduled and strictly according to the written estimate from Bob Shaver. I plan on using this company everytime I need fencing. Whenever that may be!
