+ -1 moreGreat!!! Job was supposed to last 6 days and they finished it in 3 days. They removed 3 old units and duct work. Came back and added vents where we had no cooling and replaced everything. I'm so happy for having David Caylor enter our house. Fantastic Company.
Description of Work: Central Heating and Cooling unit. We had 3 heating and cooling repairmen for an estimate. We have a home of 3000sq ft. David came out and checked everything out and he was the only one that had the knowledge of letting us know what our problem was with our unit. I'm so happy that he knew what he was doing. We live in an older home and we have had repairmen to work on the unit before it completely stopped. Not one of the others told us that we had the wrong duct work. I will never use anyone else.

Description of Work: Have used them many times before, and compared to Woodall they cost less. It is a smaller operation and I have had nothing but good experiences with them. I put a B for cost because the last time I used them was to diagnose and replace a bad thermostat, and I thought they overcharged for it, but all other past jobs were priced reasonably.

My air-conditioner was still under warranty and when the guy came he said the part was still under warranty because it is a new air conditioner and I will be charged for the service call. I was told it was $75, but when I got the bill it was over $400, because he said he had to put Freon in it. He didn’t tell me that, and not a word. When I called them and asked them how they can charge someone $325 more than they were told, he said he wasn’t authorized to tell me that. I was not happy. It must have been in 2010, it was getting hotter and the pump wasn’t blowing cold air. The pump was breaking and then her response was what were you thinking, anybody who does air conditioning work would know that Freon would have to go in. I said I am not the air-conditioner mechanic, how will I know that. It was a late bill, it came literally after two days he did the work, but they made it look like it was a late bill it showed late by 0-30 days, like I was 30days late on it. I wrote them a check, I was not happy and I will not use them again. The technician was good, he was on time and he did the work quickly, but the customer service and the billing department attitude was not good.

+ -1 moreThey come every six month to service our heat pump. We have a contract with them. They don't charge you labor on emergency calls.I have never had to use it because they always are looking after it. My experience has been all positive. I have tried everyone in the local area. They are honest, the do what they say they are going to do, and they don't over charge you.

Description of Work: We first called Snellgrove out to our home because our a/c was not working right. It was not getting cold and also the unit outside was frozen solid it had alot of ice on it. The first time they came out they said they could not find anything wrong with the a/c or anything for that matter even thou the a/c unit was frozen and still blowing warm air. They said to turn the unit off for about 3 hours to let the unit defrost and everything would be fine. Well we did that and it worked for about 1 hour then froze back up so we called them back out again. It then took them 2 days more to come back out to also tell me the same time again. They said it was completely normal for your a/c unit to freeze up to where it is covered in ice. Which i know it is not true there is no way that is normal. So i then called the company back and talked to a supervisor he said he would sent somebody different out the same company just different worker. So the 3rd time when they sent a different worker out he found out that the refrigerant (Freon) was low something the other guy didn't even check. And also the defrost board was also bad on the a/c. Which he had to come back 1 more time to put the defrost board on. So that is a total of 4 times Snellgrove came out to fix my a/c. For the most part when they said they were going to be there they were. And the price that it end up being was a good price.I also believe if the second guy would of came at first i think he would of found the problem right away and fixed it with only 2 visits. I believe the first guy just did not know what he was doing or didn't care one. But it all got fixed and thats what mattered. I will use them again but will always request for the first guy not to come back.

Description of Work: Replaced 21/2 ton Rheem heat pump unit on outside and inside. We were in the middle of a heat wave when our heat pump went out. They gave us two 5,000 BTU air conditioners to stay cool with until they could get here and replace the old one. Fortunately, it only took them 2 days to come and fix it.
