Darryl quoted the job and commenced work June 2009. Job was to be completed July 15, 2009. He installed the deck boards and we noticed the boards full of knots and holes. We insisted he replace about 17 boards. He finished the job late August. The "Yellawood" timber needed to be left for six months before any stains were applied (apparently). In January 2010 we noticed during the stain application how twisted and peeled the wood became. He was answering his phone at this time... so when we contacted him he said he would check it out. He contacted Lowes who said they would replace the wood. He declined because he wanted to be paid for labor again. At this point, he doesn't answer his phone. I've contacted Yellawood to see what they want to do. Avoid this guy.
Description of Work: Installation of a covered 16'x18' deck. Included two ceiling fans and lights.

We were replacing a leaky roof on our back porch. The workers showed up and got right to work the first morning and all seemed to go well. The roof was replaced within a couple of days and then the work began on the front remodel. The building of the pergola on the front took much longer than was expected. We had several issues along the way, that slowed work down. While work was going on, on the front of the house, we finally received some rain and discovered that the back porch roof leaked. The contractor worked on the roof to fix the leak and during the next rain we discovered that it leaked worse! This cycle was repeated several times. Almost a year after the project began, the contractor finished the roof and we believe it is correct now. I say believe because the roof has been finished out and if it does still leak, it will be a while before water damage shows up and we will know, but we could not continue waiting to finish this project any longer.
Description of Work: Replaced the roof on our back porch and built a pergola type structure on front of the house.
