Glen and his son Russell were a pleasure to work with. From the beginning Glen provided detailed cost information as well as project and payment schedule for the entire project which made the process very easy to track. All installation work was very neat and organized and all components were thoroughly tested to ensure everything was working properly. Glen walked me through all of the Control 4 functionality to get me up to speed on using the remote and is always just an email or phone call away for additional questions. We are very happy with our new system and knowing Glen and Russell are close by to address any unexpected issues or any future enhancements to our system is a big plus. We will certainly be using Autry Electronics for all of our future needs.

We were very satisfied with the quality of work as well as the price for out home theater. Glen worked closely with our general contractor throughout our building process. They worked out all the details between the wiring and the timing of the installation for a very smooth and timely installation. Anytime we had questions about the installation or how to work the components Glen always took the time to explain and made sure we were clear on how to operate the theater.

Owner and son performed the installation. They were very professional and had extensive knowledge of their product. They inserviced my wife and I on our new system, and took all the time we needed. The owner made a couple of return visits to provide more inservice to my wife and myself, and to tweek a few changes we requested, all at no charge. Autry Electronic's system is the best I've ever seen or heard. If I had it do over again, I'd do exactly the same thing, with the same folks!

Visit to home was timely after initial visit to service provider's store. I chose Autry Electronics because of reviews I read and the length of time in business with a positive BBB reputation. Basically it was his job to lose so long as I felt he had a reasonable proposal. I showed him our existing Bose Surround System moved from another house and explained our desire to use this equipment along with any necessary additions. We wanted surround sound in a Great Room and a separate upstairs den, 2 existing TVs mounted (1 outside on a terrace), some type of passive speakers or sound bar for the outdoor TV. I strongly emphasized our price consciousness, desire for good equipment, not cheap, and not high end. I know I stated this several times during the initial meeting explaining we just moved and had a limited budget for this luxury. The equipment I already had included: Bose Entertainment Center system , 2 sets of Bose dual cube speakers, 4 individual Bose cube speakers, 1 powered Bose Acoustimass subwoofer and 2 passive Bose Acoustimass subwoofers. So I was starting out with enough for 1 room minus a center channel speaker, plus the extra subwoofers. Glen asked me to follow up with him in a week if I did not receive a quote from him because he had several jobs he was committed to at that time. I had to call a week later when I did not hear from him. On 9/7/13, I received an email which said he was slammed and trying to get caught up. 2 days later I received a document detailing scope of work with no pricing, asking for confirmation that nothing was overlooked. It appeared he may not have made good notes because I had to review much of the scope again. He asked me to send him pictures of my existing equipment, which I did. On 9/10/13, I finally received the proposal, with some options listed. I liked that options were provided; however, the price was a shocker since I already has so much equipment of my own and the proposal bottom line did not include the cost for the outdoor speaker bar to be attached to the TV. The speaker bar would ADD an additional $399.00 for less expensive option or $1399.00 for more expensive option. So, really the price for the job would be ($3059.77 + $399.00) $4059.00 minimum!!!! I contacted Glen and asked him to take a look at his proposal and see where we could save some money since the most I was willing to spend was no more than $3000.00 and really closer to $2000.00. He offered to sell me a used receiver with bad HDMI inputs to shave off a few hundred. So what he needed was really just too far off from what my budget could accommodate. I did find him to be a nice person with a professional demeanor.

As promised, on time, and on budget. But the most important factor when choosing a contractor to do anything is and quot;Trustand quot; And Glen Autry is very trust worthy.

I called Autry Electronics to schedule an appointment for an estimate on a home theater. I left a message which was returned in about 4 hours. After a discussion describing what I needed, I was told they were finishing up 2 projects and would call me next week to schedule a time to come to my home. That was the last I heard from them. Needless to say, I received no estimate and had no work done.

Autry did everything expected on him for and for a reasonable price. Very good experience.

Mr. Autry runs a superior family business. He and his staff are always professional and responsive to my needs. His products are priced competitive with the mass merchandisers and his service is above all in the service industry.
