Adam Waites came to our home, did measurements, and provided us with cost of stairlift and installation of the stairlift. Due to our desire for deferred interest, financing was arranged at his recommendation with Momnt financing. Momnt financing released the $3600 payment for the service to Dreamland Restoration, LLC on August 1, 2024. We wanted to see the chair for approval prior to installation; he said did not have one in warehouse, but would be installing one in our area and would have it brought by our home. That never happened. We made numerous calls to him that went unanswered. Barry Horton, returned some calls, and told us of Mr. Waites was accompanying pregnant wife in hospital. This excuse went on for weeks. Mr. Waites never returned any calls nor installed the chairlift. Meanwhile, the finance company requested payments. To prevent a negative impact to my credit history, I paid one month. I communicated the problem to the finance company and was told that Mr. Waites needed to return the money to them. I relayed that message to Mr. Horton. According to Momnt, the money was returned to them from an account that had insufficient funds. As of this writing, no further efforts have been made to collect the funds from Mr. Waites by Momnt. This situation has negatively impacted my credit due to Momnt reporting as late payments. I do not wish to pay for service that has not been rendered.
