Professional Detail Painting

I took a chance on a flier ad. Phillip Brown (205-567-1826) came out to give me an estimate the day I called. I was originally just going to have him paint the wood trim on the peaks of my house,thinking I could do the rest myself (retired & 66yrs old). Ha! He painted the peaks and we did a walk-around on the house. I was adamant about wanting the flaking areas scraped or sanded, like my dad taught me! I had had the trim, soffit and gutters done before by someone else and he painted right over the peeling paint..and the paint job never looked great and didn't last. Mr Brown pointed out some areas where the wood on the soffit was rotting and he quoted me a fair price to do the whole thing, so I agreed....and am ever so happy I did! The paint and new wood was included in the price. We agreed on a start date and he called the day before to ask if he could come over to pressure wash the house so it would be dry by the next day for painting. He pressure washed everything...even the inside of my screened in porch! I wasn't expecting that! Awesome! The next day he came back with 1 helper and finished in one day. Here is what I got for my money: pressure washing, scraping and priming where needed, replacement of rotting boards, caulking (he caulked every crack he could find on the siding and everywhere), and painting of the entire house, including the inside of my screened-in porch! He did an awesome job! He used Sherwin-Williams paint, 123 Bullseye primer. He left no mess and I just can't express enough how happy I am with his work. He is not a fancy company...this is his home business. He deserves the work. He does interior painting also, so I expect I'll be calling him again before to long! He does it all when it comes to painting....and he does it well! I would like to upload some pictures of my house..if I can figure out how! My house SHINES!
