The quality of the deck they made was a joke. They didn't use the right wood, it's not level, and it's not how I told them to make it. It looks like they either didn't care, or were on drugs (which one of his workers (Brian) told me they smoked pot). He said he's done and not going to give me any partial reimbursement. No one should ever use this company.
Description of Work: I contracted them to do 2 decks, shutters, and other smaller projects.

No, There is no way anyone could satisfy this member. She pulls this with everyone that does work for her. I think she must be trying to get jobs done at a lower amount then what estimate she was given. Also she may have some mental issues. Serious! In response to your notice of the member’s complaint, I would like to submit the following account of events. The member was given three estimates for three different jobs she wanted completed. After the first job was completed the member began telling us about two previous contractors and the work they had done and also said she had been in a dispute with the Lowe’s for seven months. I knew then from hearing her talk that there was something not right. The first was finished and I returned the difference of an overpayment to the member. The member began calling my cell phone and leaving message. Her speech was slurred like she was on medication. The member then sent a random letter that made no sense and was impossible to comprehend as she would start with one subject and switch to another then go about how sorry we were. I am an honest, hard-working individual and its people like the member that try to get free work by lying and telling stories about people’s work. I am thankful that I left when I did. She has had issues with everyone she has contact with. I should be suing her for slander, not having to defend my work. I have never done drugs or smoked marijuana in my whole life and anyone who knows me will vouch for me. I was born and raised in this area and I have a good reputation as a carpenter. I could give you many referrals from satisfied customers and anyone in our area who knows the member would know better than to listen to her rantings. I just didn’t know at the time what it was like to work for her. I would not step foot on her property again without a police officer with me, this is how mentally unstable she is. I hope this will resolve the dispute with the member. I do not wish to do any further work for this lady or have any further contact with her. I will gladly present any evidence your company would like to corroborate my story.
