They did the best they could keep everything clean but overall I think I overpaid.

Terry Henry and his young assistant arrived on right on time in their big pink truck. They immediately got to work inspecting the HVAC unit. They discovered that ants had gotten into the outdoor unit and ruined a contact of some sort., which had to be replaced for $220. The technicians had an extensive checklist for the AC unit and when they finished the repair and the full checklist, the AC was running properly, with plenty of cold air instead of lukewarm air. They ran through the checklist with me and said that everything checked out except for the fact that the pipe insulation work had not been completed by the original installers, but I told them I could handle something simple like that. I was very pleased with their professionalism and efficiency, and appreciated the coupons and literature they left with me.

I would like to say that the gentlemen that came out were courteous and knowledgable. They were on time and the dispatcher called thirty minutes out. I have no doubt they could repair my AC. They explained a lot about my system. But I got the tune up deal which had a long list of things that they check and clean. A couple of the items were to clean the coils and drain line. They tried to quote me both things that were covered on my deal right out of the gate. I had to show them the list before they would perform the cleanings. They sprayed off the AC coil and pumped out the drain line. They said they could not use cleaner on the coil or a cleaning solution in the drain line. Although the deal says that they are to put an anti algae solution in the drain line. I feel like they checked out the system ok. But there are things on the deal list that were not done, period. And it is not just one item. There are 6 or 7 tasks not performed. If you have a deal and put a list of points and ask your customers to live up to their end... You need to do the same. Bring the deal print out and show the customer what you are doing. Every single bullet point! Don't make me show you what I expect. This was a sales pitch. And the prices were high. I wanted to have a reliable AC company I could call. This is not it.

They came out and gave us an estimate on the work we were needing to have done but it was a lot higher than we'd expected. The man who came out was very helpful, it's just more than we can spend right now.

The work was completed quickly. The pricing was very hight and based on some internal quoting system they used. They sent two men for a small job. I asked for quotes on additional jobs and the quotes were even higher, so we did not give them the business nor ask them for future jobs, based solely on pricing. $138 plus cost of $100 credit voucher.

The guy complained because he had to go under the house. They got the job done in about 20 minutes. The scheduling was good.

The people were professional, however the quote they gave was $600.00 more than a competitor.

We no longer need this deal and have never heard from them. My wife would like the work done soon.

Arrived on time and as promised. After evaluating the problems, gave an estimate of costs. Completed the work as noted in the estimate. Went above and beyond in the repair of a difficult sink problem.

The technician was extremely courteous, friendly and professional. We've tried fixing some of things ourselves and yet it only postponed the inevitable need for a professional's help. The only issue I had was the cost. For around 2-hours of work, it was almost $1000 and that was with a discount. However, if you're dealing with a persistent problem and others who've tried to do the work for free have failed...it may be well worth the cost. Wilbur's is an excellent vendor to consider!

Very professional and punctual. They explained exactly what the problem was and what they were going to do to fix it. I have used them since on other problems and their service has been wonderful.

I gave exact details of the job we wanted performed over the phone. The company insisted they couldn't give even a rough estimate over the phone, so we scheduled an appointment. The gentleman that came to the house was extremely professional, very friendly and very thorough. He showed me the company's quote book, from which there was no difference than what I described on the phone. The price was so exorbitant that I showed visible shock. I told him I was sorry for wasting his time, but that I could not afford it. The quote was over $500. I went to the big box store, bought the parts and a new tool (bonus!) for around $45 and finished the job myself that night.

He was very agreeable, very knowledgeable, just wasn't able to agree with the price. So did not complete the work.

One guy came out, told me what he was going to do after he looked at all of them. He was very courteous, professional, and prompt. He was very informative and did everything he said he was going to do. But for the amount of money that you pay to get it fixed, it doesn't seem to make any real sense. The price is frankly shocking for these home maintenance calls.

My experience with them was exceptional.

I was expecting to them to fix a small leak, and I even had the materials to do so, and next thing I know they come back with over $1500 worth of work. The small leak alone was priced a $369. Please. To cut a 3' length of PVC, glue a fitting on each end and attach it to the water heater and pipe coming down to it.

I was selling the home so I wanted to have the air conditioners annual Spring service completed and have the service tech identify any possible issues I might have during the inspection process. The service tech was on time, clean, polite and knowledgeable. Since the April service call I have used them again and the same service tech came out and identified the problem immediately and fixed it. I’ll use Wilbur’s Air & Heating again. Love those Pink trucks.

My experience was good. I did not have any problems with them. They did a good job and scheduling an appointment was just fine.

This company was fast and professional, but they charge too much. I bought a coupon through Angie's List for $100 worth of services for $49. Even with that, I paid a total of $300 to have the pipe under my kitchen unclogged. And since I declined to purchase a drain cleaning chemical for an additional $60, they did not even provide a warranty for the work. So $300 for less than an hour's work and no warranty. If I hadn't already bought the coupon I would have called a different plumber. You don't actually save any money with the coupon, because it seems that they just raise their prices to make up the difference. Even though they seem reliable and the plumber was nice, I will definitely not call them again.

I purchased big deal for plumbing. I had a dripping kitchen faucet. I bought a new kitchen faucet but they want to charge $380 to install same type of faucet that was there. They said they could repair existing faucet for $256. Their prices were so high. I was speechless. They didn't honor coupon and said they didn't write the Ad. I called the company and told them even though they didn't write the Angie list Ad they should honor it. Serviceman said he had been getting same type of problem with the ad.

I must have looked pretty stupid to get such an estimate. I asked if there was anything he could do for the $49 and he said no, so I showed him the door.

I have already spoken at length with an Angie's List representative, and it is such an irritating story I would rather not repeat it. All I say when asked is,"I will NEVER use this plumbing company again, or refer them to friends." Basically, although they came to do the work, they refused to honor the voucher (because we had no paper copy, they said) and went out of their way to try to convince us to spend money on additional repairs which weren't needed...and THEN they would let us use the voucher.

They called at 4:50pm and said they were on their way. They did not show up until almost 6pm and there were 2 of them. There were two very minor things I needed addressed and 2 other bigger things. I did not expect the $100 credit to cover them all, but I was shocked at the price. They quoted me $621 less $100 for the deal for a total of $521. They wanted $374 to replace an outdoor faucet. They would have had to knock out the brick around it. They wanted $247 to reinstall a gas line that we had to take down to replace the deck that was just completed. I thought both were way over priced, but the $247 to replace the gas line was ridiculous! There were no parts required to complete this job. All they had to do was disconnect the copper at the regulator, drill a hole in the deck, run the copper through the hold, attach the quick connect to the deck with 4 screws and reconnect the copper to the regulator. The only skill required was reconnecting the gas line. When I questioned the price, he said that they didn't have that exact job in their price book, so he did the best he could. My guess this could easily have been done in an hour, if not 30 minutes. I will never call this company again and I am asking for a refund from Angie's List for the Big Deal. This is the second Big Deal I have purchased and I did not have this problem with the first purchase which was for a an electrician.

I got one of the Angie's list deals and Wilbur's contacted me right away. They arrived when they were scheduled to and the person doing the work was very good. He used a pneumatic plunger-like device to fix the blockage and it was very fast. He also looked at my kitchen sink, but said that it was fine. However, he did recommend a pro-biotic to put down the drain. Overall, Wilbur's was fast and efficient. I would gladly use them for future plumbing or HVAC needs.

It was fine. They got the job done in about 30 minutes. The technician was fine. The scheduling was fine.
