Description of Work: The cost is a little misleading since the amount promised is applied to any work the plumber does. Unfortunately the amount given in the Angie's list ad is not even close to covering any real plumbing repair. For that reason I will not buy any more coupons. Thankfully, Wilbur's is a professional service and were upfront about costs related to our service call.

Description of Work: What a farce! I paid $49 for $100 of "professional plumbing". For my $49 I actually received an estimate for $1533(which included the $49 charge I had already paid) for the work I needed done. No work was done other than the preparation of the estimate. Two days later I hired a certified Master Plumber and the total charge for the same work(including all materials) included in Wilbur's estimate was $365. The work took less than 3 hours. Wilbur's uses "Standard job pricing" which is a total rip-off! NEVER use Wilbur's unless you love to extravagantly overpay!

Description of Work: I needed to have my A/C serviced and purchased the special deal from Angie's List. This was offered by Wilbur's. While they were there, I went ahead and purchased a year's worth of maintenance (Heat Pump service in the Spring and Fall) and joined the "Pink" list. It sounded like a great deal - discounts and preferential treatment, etc. I found them to be very friendly, super knowledgeable and very professional. My A/C is purring and I'm very happy I found a company that I can count on. They told me they did plumbing services as well, so I will be calling them in the future if I need help with that too. Thanks, Wilbur's!

Description of Work: Repaired HVAC, replaced flow valve on house water system. As I write this, they are, at this moment, doing a second job on my air condition system, not covered in first repair work. They are an excellently managed firm, with very competent repair people.

Description of Work: Flushed water heater but that caused a leak in the outtake valve. They wanted to charge me to fix that, but later came and fixed it without charge. At first they wanted to charge me over $300 to fix it, and later fixed it with a brass cap.

Description of Work: charged $600.00 to install a blower motor (Labor only.) the carrier part was under warranty. Seems excessive, however, it may be in line with accepted practice. With rental property I have top get a better deal.

Description of Work: Repaired one toilet and performed complete home plumbing inspection. Their work was professional, thorough and communicated my options very well. Unfortunately, I felt the quotes for additional services were too high.

Description of Work: They checked my toilet and replaced the flapper. They also checked all other faucets and water hookups and suggested I replace (or have them replace) my washing machine hoses with a better quality hose.

Description of Work: We really wanted someone to fix our toilet. We misunderstood what the $39 checkup meant, I guess. He really didn't do anything and his prices on what we did need was just too high.

Description of Work: We had some pipes burst with the cold snap, and I actually joined Angie's list to find a good plumber. The guys that came out were very professional. They quoted an upfront fee and said it would cover all items we talked about. We have had other plumbing work done and had someone stay much longer and not charge us nearly this much. This work was easily accessible and did not involve crawling under the house or getting dirty. I guess it was the parts of the replacement pipes that cost so much! That was my only negative point. I will consider them again for my AC cleanup this year because Service Experts have become so unreliable. That is a known cost and should be a better experience.
