Wilbur's Air Conditioning Heating & Plumbing

My experience with Wilbur's Air Conditioning Heating & Plumbing worked out very well. Their service stood out to me. It was a good service. The guy really knew what he was doing. He was intelligent and gave great advice and how to keep our system maintenance up.

My experience went good with them I would use them again. They did a good job I liked them. The were very friendly and knowledgeable. He told me I can fix this much and it would be cheaper if you buy the parts and you would save a lot of money. I told him it would take all day and I appreciate you telling me. They were defiantly very honest about he pricing. They came out very quite and were early. They were nice and I like them.

The service went fine. They were reliable and they gave me good referral to somebody to do the tile work for me.

The service person did a thorough check of all the plumbing in the house and found a few minor problems and fixed those promptly without extra charge. They did an excellent honest job!

It was good and I was very satisfied.

We bought the $49 Angie's List special for $100 services. On their sheet it states that this offer includes the following: Installing & repairing kitchen faucets Repairing bathroom faucets Fixing running toilets & toilets that don't flush Others that we didn't need The fine print does say only for labor not for materials, which we didn't see. But - they did NOTHING for the supposed $100. They said they couldn't repair the leaky faucets; they would rebuild all of them. We could go buy brand new ones cheaper than the price they gave us! The kitchen faucet to rebuild - $256.00. The bathroom faucet to rebuilt (not just repair) $251.00. The toilet which is very new - install new seals & ballcock $254! We didn't pay that much for the toilet!!! The total for 3 simple fixes - $761 less the $100 credit from Angie's List = $661.00. We really expected the $100 to cover something , even if it was just fixing one leaky faucet. VERY disappointed. We knew they leaked. We didn't need to pay for someone to tell us that. So that deal was worth absolutely NOTHING!

They installed a new kitchen faucet for me. He was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to get the job done. He was very quick.

Don't really know if they did everything on the list because unit has a tiny leak so freon had leaked out & air wouldn't come on. The cost of the freon was higher than we found with others & he said it needed 4#. Only had the 1# put in covered in our deal. Replacement for the unit was $6,000, $8,000, or $11,000 . Their prices are way over others. Talked to another a/c service, said only needed 3# to get it up & running & price of freon was $41 per pound less than Wilbur's. So really only issue on this one was the cost. We just wouldn't do business with them again, way too high.

The purchase of the discount coupon was easy and I like getting to see deals from Angie's List. The service provider was friendly and courteous. However, we needed the services performed sooner than they could accommodate, so we needed to cancel the order and seek a refund.

I was impressed with the thoroughness of the service. He said it did not need any (included) freon.

Wilbur's is AMAZING!! I bought the special deal for 39.00 for a complete toilet inspection. I honestly expected 39.00 worth of work, but I got the REAL DEAL! Everything they said would be done via the special, they did...die test, flapper replaced...etc. My kiddos loved the pink truck and the pink shoes. The tech was super nice! He even gave my 3 year old a brand new pair of Wilbur's "pink shoes"! :) PERFECT service!

I rated the Price a C because we had to pay an after hours surcharge. Completely understandable, but very expensive. We were available for an earlier time, but the plumber was not.

It worked out fine with Wilbur's Air Conditioning Heating & Plumbing. They were very professional and willing to go ahead and put some new unit in even though it was late in the evening. They were very courteous and they explained their policy and everything. I thought the price was just a little high. They were very responsive and very quick. We were shocked at the cost of it because we had just put one in six years ago and it was already out and it was of course not nearly that much but we had found out from him that we are not going to make those kind, not going to be able to buy parts from them and would just have to turn around so we don't have any way of knowing if that was the truth but that's what we believed because it was just a shock.

It was fine. There wasn’t much to be done. It was a big deal purchase.

Overall my experience with Wilbur's was positive. When I contacted for an estimate they sent someone out within a day. Both those on the phone and the associates who came out were very professional and helpful. The quote for the work was a little higher than other quotes I had received but not by a huge margin. The only reason I did not go with them to replace my A/C was that their price was a little higher than the quote I had received from the company who had been servicing my unit for a number of years and I felt loyalty to go with them.

They arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. I had to call them back a week later because I noticed another leak. It turned out to be a faulty part and they fixed it no charge. This is a quality company. I trust them very much.

They came out and let me know that due to the age of the water heater and the plastic relief valve, the flushing would not be helpful. They were very nice.

It went fine. He said that the toilet was singing, so I thought that is a great deal for the plumber to come out. They went anything wrong, very nice, and professional. I do not have to replace one, I am not going to do it, and that was very nice, having know suppose to and all that. But a star is a regular plumber, I would shop around. They did not do anything wrong and were very nice.

They were prompt, professional, and very good. We ended up having more work done than we thought we needed. They fixed a leak in the pipe in the basement and sent out the septic tank guy the next day.

That turned out fine and there was no problem at all. Just one technician came out and he was very friendly. Scheduling worked out just fine and they were right on time.

They were professional and prompt. The work seems to be fine. They are however on the very high end of the cost range for this kind of service.

We had a good experience with Wilbur's Air Conditioning Heating & Plumbing. We had them do all three units. We purchased the big deal for one of the units. The workers were very good. They were punctual and clean, they wore shoe protectors. They were very thorough and communicative in terms of what was good and what was bad. They did a good job.
