+ 0 morePolite and performed the work quickly and efficiently. Too early to tell about the weeds though. Already had some coming up so think they are a little late getting to pre emergent. We'll see what happens. We have a monthly service with them.

+ -1 moreThey started in June and I signed a contract with them. At first, they would come out and do what they said they were going to do, but I couldn't tell any difference. The grass was doing great but the weeds were doing better than the grass. They kept telling me I have to have a few treatments over the winter and they are still working on it. They came back and I can tell a huge difference right now. It hasn't been a year, but the grass is looking better than the weeds for a change. I paid about $360 a year. I received offers that are less. They are very nice. I don't know yet if I am going to use them again.
Description of Work: Wayne's comes out every few months to spray the weeds. They came out in February when the grass was dead to spray so that the weeds won't come back out.

+ 1 moreThey have been very friendly and punctual. Their service keeps our grass mostly clear of weeds and our lawn looks better than our neighbors for sure. The only complaint I had was that my husband said he was unaware that he signed a contract when the salesperson was going door to door. But this has not been a problem since we love the service. I would recommend this company hands down!

+ 0 moreAnother company that I used recommended them to me. They called me back in a timely manner after I left a message. They beat the price that I was paying for pest control and lawn care. I am pleased with them so far. I just got started with them but so far so good. The price is the combined price for both.
Description of Work: I use Waynes monthly for pest control and lawn fertilization. They have already come for the lawn fertilization and they are coming for the initial visit for the pest control tomorrow.

+ 0 moreWe tried several nationally advertised companies to treat our lawn for weeds and pests and provide termite protection for our home. Wayne's has been the best by far. We have used them since 2009 and during the late spring and summer have always had people come to the door to ask who takes care of our lawn. We like the fact that they try to schedule treatments just before a rain (if it's fertilizer that needs to have water applied) and at dry-weather times (if it's weed control that does not need water). The person who is doing the work always comes to the door to let us know he's here and working and asks if we want him to bring the bill to the door when he's finished or to just leave it in the door. He always takes the time to explain what he's applying and to ask if we have questions or issues that he needs to handle. We could not be happier with the company or with the way our lawn looks.

+ 0 moreIt was a horror story. I tried very hard to give them the opportunity to correct the problems. They never did so.
Description of Work: I contracted out with Wayne's Environmental Services for lawn care services at 270.00 monthly. The services was to provide 37 visits per year, this was the lawn care year and not the calendar year. It included general lawn maintenance, pruning trees and scrubs, bed weed control, bed leaf removal, and tree and scrub care. This included a huge natural area on the front of my home that was never treated over the entire 37 visits. Each time I asked, it was to be treated on the next visit and should only require a few applications. They were always ordering the chemical need to treat the area without killing the juniper. My rose bushes were not pruned and the scrubs were not cut on more than one occasion. The contract was supposed to have a money back guarantee. They only agree to give me back $135.00 but never did that. I am still awaiting a corrected bill. I bundled and had pest services. My home still has spiders, scorpions,and silver fish to name a few.

+ 0 moreThey perform the advertised service at a fair price and don't hassle me. My experience with Waynes has been much better than with Trugreen. Waynes never tries to upsell me and they don't call me all the time selling stuff like Trugreen. Being locally owned seems to help, the fact that I can speak to someone in a local office and not another state is important to me.

Sometimes, they did not follow-up on what they said, but they would tell us they would be there like on a Tuesday, and they never showed up. We had to call them and find out what happened. We did several trips for them. It took them many days to finish the job which was a lot longer than what they said. They were not really responsive.

Description of Work: Removed old moldy grout. put down new grout. gave a sealant treatment Told me he would feel better coming back to apply a second coat of sealant, and did it. The technician (Chris) even gave me free advices on other issues I had.

We have two contracts with them, one is for lawn care, and tree and shrub care; and the second one is for pest control. They last did our lawn, and shrub and tree service. They put down chemicals for the lawn, fertilizers, pesticides and things like that. They also do mosquito prevention.

The price is very reasonable and the quality is excellent. The responsiveness is great and they come when they say they are going to come. They are very professional.
