TURF DOCTOR INC

I have had the Turf Doctor for my lawn and trees and shrubs for two years and every year the Crape Myrtle tree in my front yard bloom out looks beautiful for about three weeks then all the leaves turn yellow and fall off. Turf Doctor keeps telling me it is insects but it is actually fungus. I had an Arborist out to look at it on Friday and he said it is so bad that I am going to loose all the leaves well before they should even start to fall. All the other Crape Myrtles on this street look beautiful and I have this dead ugly tree in my yard. Over the last two years I have reported this to everyone including the main office who told me the manager of the location that serviced my area would look at the tree as he was the expert and handle the situation himself. He came out and declared once again that the problem was insects and sprayed for them. From the time the tree leafed out the tree was sprayed several time for insects yet the leaves began to turn yellow as before and fall off. The Manager said he would continue to service my yard himself, but the rest of the yard began to go down hill immediately. Now in addition to all the dead leaves under my tree which I have to rake every day, i have weed all over the yard which I have been pulling by hand. I went on line and looked up my problem with the tree and it appeared to me that what I had did not look like insect damage but appeared to be fungus. I called the manager and told him this and he said he would be out on 8/26 and spray for fungus. He said he would come early as it was going to be sunny that day and the spray needed to dry before it got too hot. I waited until nine thirty then I had to leave for an appointment. When I got home there was a note on the door saying he was there at nine fifteen and sprayed the tree. I called him and left a message saying I was here until nine thirty and asking him to call me back. He never did, so I called the Arborist and got his opinion. The tree is ruined again for this year and my yard is full of weed. I would not recommend these people to anyone and i intend to tell everyone I know or come in contact with to avoid this company at all costs if they value the look of their property.

They were to eliminate all weeds and provide lawn applications. After five months of service and numerous service calls, they were never able to eliminate a weed they called nutsedge. This final attempt to get them to respond, I called them on Tuesday, September 3rd with a service call. They promised to respond within two days. When they didn't respond by Friday, I called monring and the supervisor said he would call the technician and have him go directly over. He never showed up. When I called Monday morning, the supervisor was very rude and said we have had this conversation many times and I just don't understand that this takes time.

I have used Turf Doctor for approximately two years, their work has been satisfactory, however I have had to call them on two occasions because of weeds in my yard. The last two times they sprayed or supposed to have sprayed they did not leave a statement or put a sign in my yard that they had sprayed. Today I get a letter in the mail that my account is seriously delinquent and if payment is not received in 10 days my account would be turned over for collection. I have been in the professional world for a number of years and have owned my own business for eight years, I think a telephone call would have been more approximate than a nasty letter for someone that had been a customer for two years, needless to say I suspended their future services. Truthfully I feel that I am paying for something I never received.. I would not refer them to anyone.

I have used TURF DOCTOR OF BHAM, INC. since about 2007. At the beginning they did a WONDERFUL job. BUT over the past year I have had the following problems: They would call the day before they were coming...which is not what we had discussed I am a traveling nurse and I have dogs so I needed to know at least a week ahead of time to make arrangements for my dogs to be inside; I kept having problems with several of my shrubs being infested with mites and killing plants...this problem was never resolved and my yard had weeds growing it; also whatever they were spraying on my yard...the spray pattern would show and looked terrible; Also, billing and communication was awful... as i said i am a traveling nurse and yes i did get behind on paying last application.....the next thing i know i have been turned over to a collection agency.....no courtesy reminder phone calls...text reminders or emails....which i was checking....it was my oversight BUT how about showing some loyalty to your long term customers

I have not been happy with their service. I was not happy with their price or their service. They come regularly and want their money but I am not satisfied with their service. The people who come to do the yard work are very polite and very nice but when I call the office to tell them what I am unhappy about and that is when I run into problems. So their administration is not very good. They do come and apply certain stuff I don’t have any problem with that. It is the follow up that is the problem. They called me to ask me if I wanted my lawn aerated and that is when I said to the man who called that I needed to speak to somebody in management since I was not happy about the lawn and he said that he would take my name down and have somebody call me. I have not heard from anyone yet.

My lawn looks very good since Turf Doctor started coming out. I am very pleased with how professional and courteous the person who comes to do my lawn is. This has been a good experience.

They were good to work with and they listened to our instructions on what we thought we needed done. They had our lawn looking really nice. They would always leave us a report on the things they did and let us know what to do as a follow up.

I can say what I liked the most and would tell others is that I could see a major difference from before we used them to now. It was an ordinary service that most people used for their lawn, but I was overly pleased with such quick and great results. They answered all of my needs in a simple manner and they had excellent service.

I have no complaints because they did a fine job. They are easy to deal with and their billing is easy. The grass is greener and all the weeds are gone. They come around and leave notification when treatment is due again.

I had only spoken to them a couple of times and they were very courteous. They did an excellent job on the yard and everything looked great. They used a pretty good product because we didn t have any weeds or brown areas in our yard. We had a yearly contract with this company and they did seven applications a year on my yard.
