The Louver Shop has been providing shutters and other window coverings throughout the Southeastern United States since the early 1970′s. The Louver Shop soon developed a reputation as being the company to go to for quality and value in shutters. Our philosophy was to sell quality and value. The Louver Shop is the largest (by square foot volume) in the Southeast and has continued to grow over the last 30 years. We can make any shutter, any color, any shape, and any size. Our relentless pursuit of customer satisfaction has delighted homeowners for the past four decades.

Andrew of the louvershop was on time and extremely friendly. He was very knowledgable about all my windows and what was needed. I would recommend the louvershop to anyone. I also had previous shutters installed from another company that he was able to fix.
Description of Work: The Louvershop Installed several shutters and wooven wood blinds in my new home.

Overall it was terrible. I originally met with the rep from the shop on May 18th to discuss blinds or window treatments for my kitchen area. My purpose in meeting with him at that time was to have the product installed by the end of June - giving us 6 weeks. He mentioned that I could have plantation shutters put in that would be the exact same quality and shutter as I have thoughtout the house through another company. I said my concern is that I absolutely need these by the end of June. I was told no problem as it usually only takes 3-4 weeks. So we set an install date of June 24. As June 24 approached I called to set the appointment for the afternoon hours...I was told at that time - there was a probleming at the plant and it would be another 2-3 weeks. I said that was unacceptable and that I would be deducting $100 of off the invoice for every day after July 1. I received a call back stating that they would be here July 5th. When the product arrived - the quality of the product was very poor - in fact - I initially said I didn't want them installed. The rep convenienced me to allow him to install one and if I didn't like it he would take it down. One of the slats is not perfectly straight, I asked that it be replaced, (That has not been done and no call back to schedule.) The shutter one over the kitchen window cannot open because of the balkhead - that was never brought up and was an oversight on the reps part. The shutters were installed with only a magnet on one side of the shutters, I asked that it be corrected with magnets on both sides - just like all the others throughout the house. Rep said not a problem - he could have that corrected. (That has not been done and no call back to schedule.) The blind for the back door is cheap looking and poorly installed. It doesn't not pull and release evenly. It was installed off-center to take in consideration the locks on the door, but so far off center -that it leaves a gap on the one side. The is also no hardware in stalled to wrap the cord leaving a dangerous loop hanging down. The blind flaps when the door is open and closed whether it is in the hold brackets or not. The hold brackets are silver metal and stick out like a sore thumb. The rep said that he would call me in a week to fix all this items mentioned. I have had no return call and it will be two weeks.

The Louvershop stands by any and all of the products that we install. We have been in business for over 38 years. We do our best to give all our customers the service they expect and come to deserve. I will begin by saying our shutters were indeed running a few weeks late and when Andrea called to tell me how upset she was, she demanded that she would take off $100 each day that the shutters were late. When we began our install I made it very clear to her that if she didn't like the shutter, we would take them down and request a full refund or do whatever it took to make it right. However she is now complaining and requesting more money off. Our goal is to satisfy 100 percent of our clients. We will try to work with this customer if she still wants to work with us.

I was just very well pleased with them. The only thing about ordering blinds or shutters was waiting for your order, which in this case was about 12 weeks. That was about the normal though, and they were up front about the timeline, so that was not a problem at all. They brought out samples and did a good job of measuring all of the windows for a good custom fit.
Description of Work: They installed new shutters on 20 windows in my home.
