+ 0 moreIt went fantastic! With just a few days, they came out and installed the gate. I'm a big guy (6'3, 230 pounds), and I can't move the gate! Additionally, our guests love the gate. It looks great. We could not be happier.
Description of Work: I asked Steel City Woodworks to design and build a permanent baby gate for my split-foyer house. The staircase was over 50 inches wide at the top, so it was difficult to find something that looked nice and was stylish (it's the first thing our guests see when visiting our house). Steel City Woodworks came out, measured the area, and talked with my wife and me for our needs and wants. We needed a gate strong enough to keep our kid from falling down the steps, and we wanted something that looked elegant.

+ 2 moreI could not be any happier with the results! We chose a slate color counter top and cream cabinets along with a white double door and bronze handles. The cabinet work and installation is so precise and it really turned what was once an awkward space into something we are proud of! It's extremely functional for our family too!
Description of Work: We had a laundry room with a single wire shelf above the washer/dryer and folding doors that were narrow and did not allow me to fully open the doors of our front loading washer and dryer. I wanted a countertop for folding and cabinets above the washer and dryer for storage. I also wanted the cabinets to slide in and out like drawers. We also wanted the doors replaced with a double door that opened wide on each side to allow more room for the washer and dryer and also give a more updated appearance when closed.
