Description of Work: Matt C. Assessed the potential causes of a leak of water in basement from fixtures above. Unfortunately I couldn't replicate the leak. However he found a leaky spout and repaired it with copper pipe. He also repaired a vent connection in attic.

Description of Work: They evaluated the reason for the water leaking from unit in the house. Found that the filter had been sucked into the fan. This caused the unit to freeze up. Still the repairman checked the freon and other possible problems.

Description of Work: I have used Standard in the past for issues with my heating and AC unit. I must say that I do have a tech that I prefer to look at my unit and assess the problem, (his name is Joe). It took only a few minutes for him to tell me the bolts on the toilet were rusted, and I needed to replace the wax ring and seal as well. This stopped all the water dripping and only took 30 minutes from start to finish. I was glad that this guy obviously was quite experienced. I was also happy they sent him the following day after I telephoned the company. I thought it might take days to get a guy out.
Description of Work: I contacted the company to find a leaky pipe that was leaking around the toilet and dripping into the basement.

+ -1 moreWhen it's time for an inspection they send out a courtesy mail out providing the number to contact to arrange an appointment. I seem to recall I was able to get them in within a couple of days and they arrived for the appointment on time. The people they send out are usually friendly and in the past have offered up suggestions and advice as to how to recognize issues and what to do when they occur. I find their price is reasonable and I would recommend them to a family member or friend.
Description of Work: This company provided an inspection of our air conditioning unit and a test of the Freon levels, which didn't lead to any need for repairs. They provide inspections twice a year.
