Johnny Deblieux and his crew did an awesome job painting our home's exterior and removing/replacing the roof! The workmen were very nice, and the job was done in a very reasonable amount of time. Johnny was quick to return any calls/texts we had, and answered all our questions as the jobs were in progress. We have definitely gotten our money's worth! This is the second job SouthFace has done for us (He was recommended to me by my sister; she loves the back patio he did for her!), and we will definitely be calling him again for future work to be done!

Absolutely could not be happier with Johnny and his employees. From start to finish (and "finish" means done to satisfaction, not just looking to get a check and skip town!), they were communicative, punctual, and just a pleasure to work with. Combine that with being affordable and attentive, and you've got a company with fantastic customer service. For the exterior paint job on our 100 year old house, they were incredibly careful and thorough to scrape, prime, and do everything to a standard of excellence. Inside, they were clean and exact. They also built a shed roof over our back deck, which for our house (several different roof pitches intersecting) was pretty complicated. Johnny took time to explain the options we had, and once we settled on a design, the crew executed it flawlessly, even following up proactively to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. They even went above and beyond to do some minor carpentry repairs that added even more value to their services, for no additional cost. We truly couldn't have had a better experience, and SouthFace will be our first and only call for this kind of work in the future. Highly, highly recommend!

They did an excellent job. They painted every square inch of the house, places I did not even know were part of the house they painted. They were friendly and very professional. Completed the job in a timely manner. I would hire them again.

I called the office on Wednesday and set up an appointment for Friday. The owner called me Thursday evening with what first seemed like a follow-up, but proceeded to tell me how much he charges over the phone (which insinuated he thought that would change my mind or that he didn't want to do the job at all). He then told me to calculate my rooms per square foot and let him know if I still wanted him to come. My entire point of an estimate and meeting with him on Friday was for him to tell me these measurements and pricing. Why would I do it myself? It came off very rude and I thought I would receive better service due to the ratings. I also want to add my appointment was for 10am on Friday and he never even called or showed up to see if I was still interested. I ended up choosing a competitor out of Trussville due to this. They will begin on Monday.

When I first spoke with Pairs at Southface to set up an appointment for an estimate, I had a favorable impression of the company. This continued when I met with Johnny and ironed out the details of my paint job. Price was very competitive and he helped make sure I was comfortable with every aspect of the contract. Wes was the team lead for the paint crew and the whole team was extremely professional, unobtrusive, and efficient. Southface as a whole is a very communicative company. Every call, email, or text was addressed promptly. This was the easiest paint job I have had done on a home due to the consumet professionalism. I would definitely use them for future work and recommend to others.

The workmen came on time, were very polite and worked efficiently. When they came upon some underlying problems when they removed the siding, they were quick to get in touch we me and tell me, and gave me a quote on what this extra work would cost. It was well within the range I expected and immediately agreed to have them address this problem as well. They also fixed some flashing on the roof that was the reason for the rotted wood. Aside from a rainy day, everything was completed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Southface Renovations without any hesitation!

I was given a schedule time of the repair. I also was given a call the day before to remind me of the repairs and what time they would show up. They were on time and did the repairs. They were very professional.

Wes and his crew did a great job on the deck, stairs and painting. They went above and beyond what was initially requested to give us the best possible results. They were very pleasant and easy to work with and did an outstanding job on the house.

After my husband and I did a lot of research on exterior painters, we decided to go with SouthFace Renovations for a number of reasons. They came highly recommended, and their bid was very reasonably priced. We knew we needed to have some repairs made to the ironwork on the front steps of our home, and they were happy to take that on in addition to the painting. They can do anything! The crew who painted our house were friendly and efficient. We had no problem with them working at our home while we were away. They were nothing but polite to us and respectful of our property. The project leader, Wes, was an incredible liaison for the company. He oversaw the work each day and was happy to answer any questions we had along the way. We?re thrilled with the results! Our home is beautiful, and we know that the paint will last for years and years because Southface used high-quality materials and performed excellent work. We?ll definitely work with them again in the future.

SouthFace did an outstanding job! Many, many compliments have been received. The company did everything the owner said his company would do. When I asked for time with the owner to review the job he was incredibly responsive. The job didn't deviate from the estimate one penny. If you think this amount is high, all I can say is "You get what you pay for." Our house is beautiful. The time projected for the completion was met as well. [The reason this is a few months late is we just moved in. I've waited until after the move to do the reviews of the companies we used.]

They removed all the old storm windows, scraped and cleaned all the wood trim and windows of our historic brick house, repaired rotted wood, replaced loose glaze on wood windows, primed with an oil based primer, painted everything that was not brick, (two colors), and replaced cleaned storm windows. The crew did a great job. The house is very old and had not been painted in at least 20 years, they worked very hard to get everything prepped properly. They rebuilt several wood features on the eaves that were rotted. The foreman was very responsive to my concerns about paint color and type of paint. They finished in a reasonable amount of time and only took off when it was raining. The house looks almost new. In any case, I would highly recommend.

Johnny and his team did a great job and exceeded expectations. His prices were fair and his team kept me informed throughout the process. The hardwood floors were a perfect match to existing hardwoods in the remainder of house. Throughout the job it was obvious that his team was devoted to providing quality service. They even returned after hours to perform touch up work to ensure all expectations were met. It was an extensive remodel and was completed on an aggressive timeline and with very little overages (most due to our changes). Our house turned out incredible. The crews were all very professional and very detailed. Our renovation was one that required a high level of custom finish work and we couldn't be happier with the end result. We are certainly going to be using them to complete our guest house and pool house. I can't say enough great things about them.

Very good communication setting up the estimate and throughout the two weeks it took to complete the job. They were very thorough and did extensive prep work on the house before they started painting. Wes and his crew were very professional and were nice to have around. They did a great job and I will definitely use them again.

The owner, Johnny, was wonderful from start to finish. His crew was great, too! Johnny, showed up when he said he would and gave me a written quote within a couple of days. He was extremely patient while we obtained a couple of other bids and got approval from our owners. In the meantime, I was working at a home where Southface was doing a kitchen renovation. That client was very happy with their work and responsiveness, so that helped us to make our final decision. Once we were finally ready to begin, the crew showed up on time and got right to work. They were very professional, and did a great job refurbishing 100 year old windows and a few that had been replaced within the past 10 years but were never properly caulked. The crew filled gaps around the windows as well as scraped, primed, and painted them. I would definitely recommend them and plan to contact them in the future when we need other work done at the building.

Came out promptly for estimate, which was very competitive. Started and finished when they said, did a good job of matching the paint the paint, removed an replaced fixtures as appropriate, cleaned up after.

Johnny and Scott were great to work with! They showed up the morning of the day they said they would start, and finished 7 days later, exactly when they said they would finish. The entire crew was polite and professional. Once the job was complete, we did a thorough walk through and every detail was complete to our satisfaction. We had to order some shutters that did not arrive until the job was complete and Johnny picked them up for us, painted them and had them hung almost immediately. The final cost was exactly what the quoted estimate was, no more. We will be doing some interior renovations in the future and I will certainly give these guys a call again.
