Southern Leak Detection

A month of excuses and finally this company returned to find the second leak. After over $500 for this second trip the tech said he found the leak and he marked the spot. I called my plumber to dig at the site of the newly found leak and repair the water line. He did so and found nothing. So I still had a leak and I also had an added bonus of a plumber's bill for this trip out without resolution. I did not get what I paid for with Southern Leak Detection who is a subsidiary of Steel City Mechanical. My requests for help were ignored. In the end I wasn't a priority for them, they had bigger customers. This is the worst service I think I've ever come across. Based on my experience my advise is to find someone else if you need to find a leak in a water line.

My water bill for the past month was nearly 500. The water department checked the meter and told me we had a leak so I contacted Southern Leak Detection to find it. They actually showed up the same day and within an hour found a leak. Our plumber repaired the leak and determined there was another leak as well. We have called SLD daily for two weeks asking them to return and look for another leak (at my cost) and they have not returned. They gave a new story every day.
