Two realtors - Lisa Williams and Steve Chambers They have been very helpful h us know what changes need to be made inthe house. They supported us with contractors and provided names of good contractors, stood up for us in a contract phase making sure other buyers knew about comparable houses. They were great advocates during the negotiations process. They were always positive, supportive and realistic in what we needed to do to sell our house and talked to us about anything we needed in the process.

We had to speak with Marella Fedyk with Southern Advantage Real Estate several times when we lived in our rental home as the Landlord wanted to sell the home. We had made an offer on another house and informed this realtor about this; she said she would call back to confirm that our offer was accepted and then re-list the rental home we were living in. This other house did not work out for us and soon after there was a real estate sign in the yard of our rental house. When we called to let her know we were not moving out, she was upset because she had the sign already placed in the yard, but I reminded her that she had said she would call us back to find out if we were moving, and she did not. Marella also did an inspection walk through of our rental house after we moved out which was very inappropriate for her to do this as the Landlord was the one who did the initial walk through prior to our moving in which meant an inaccurate comparison. We would like to know if an initial inspection sheet was completed. This rental home was in very poor condition when we moved in despite the fact that the realtor who showed us the rental house said that everything had to be fixed and working well upon our moving in. This proved to not be true upon our move in! So many things were looking bad and not functioning well at all or were broken or missing which is detailed in another review. We called the Landlord right away, the same day we moved in, to let him know about the poor condition of the home. Many things never were fixed and we ended up fixing or improving many things in this improperly maintained house by the Landlord on our own. This realtor had admitted to us that this house would be greatly reduced in price on the real estate market because it needed many repairs and remodeling. So we were very chagrined to find out she told the Landlord to not give us our security deposit of $1,900 back! We left this house in as good of condition as was possible and with repairs and improvements done as well! Update: this rental home was in filthy condition upon moving in and there were already holes in the walls when we moved in. I immediately called the Landlord and asked him to fix the place up and he said he would. He never repaired the holes in the walls nor the paint that was falling off as well as many other things in the home which we documented. The movers left one small hole due to having to screw a bookcase into the wall because of uneven carpeting which was a safety issue. This hole was so small that I didn't even see it. We also took pictures of the home and of the rash that developed on one family member's skin due to the poor ventilation and mold that was growing in the bathroom where there was a leaky window that we informed the Landlord about at least twice and he chose not to do anything about. This rash resolved after we moved out of this unhealthy home.

Response from Southern Advantage Real Estate LLC
I have not done business with these people. My clients who own the house asked for my opinion of the condition of the home when they left it. My opinion was the home was left filthy and had holes in the walls. I forwarded pictures to the member.
