 + -1 moreWe ended up going with a different company, a larger higher end carpet store who actually installed my carpet for less than Sharp's quote. I really liked talking to Tyler, though. He was a no pressure, laid back guy. He was on time and polite. I like the mom and pop shop vibe of Sharp's Carpet, too. Maybe next time
Description of Work: When I first went to Sharp's, Tyler walked me through the store and explained different types of carpets to me. On my second stop in, I scheduled an appt for Tyler to come out to the house to measure our bedroom and give me a quote on carpet. He did just that.

Description of Work: Tyler handled even the smallest details!!! From start to finish he was there for us. Even a last minute change was no problem for him. The installers were VERY good. They were fast, courteous and professional. Thank you SO much for making the 3 room installation at my Mother's house a very pleasant experience. SHARP is the best.

Description of Work: I worked w/ Tyler of Sharp Carpet and he went to the "End's of the Earth" to help me find the style of carpet I was looking for. He came out to my house after he got off work on a Saturday to verify the room measurements I had given him. The installers showed on time and let me inspect the work before leaving. Tyler even called me after the install and I invited him over sometime to see the results.

Description of Work: Sharp Carpet was very helpful in the selection process. We picked-out engineered hardwood flooring for our house and it was installed on-time and looks great. The installers were very professional and performed excellent work.

 + -1 moreThe project was not begun. It stalled in the early stages.
Description of Work: Someone came to my home only four days after my initial call. I was very pleased to see him. He called a couple of days later with a verbal estimate, and said someone would come to determine what type of wood was needed. Then a written estimate would follow. That was the last I heard. I called to find out when the second person would be coming, and was told he would be calling me for an appointment time. This company did not follow through.

carpet installation
 + -1 moreThey did a good job taking out the old carpet and cleaning up the mess before starting to install the new carpet. It took a couple of weeks, but I was happy with that and I was very pleased to pay that price because of the ending results. I could trust them in my home and they did an awesome job showing up and working hard to get the job done.
Description of Work: They took up the old carpet and installed new carpet in 3 bedrooms, den, stairs, bathroom and the living room.

 + -1 moreSharp Carpet Factory Outlet's workers were very nice and courteous. I'd say they were very professional. They did all of the work in just two days. When they left everything was left neat and clean. They really did a fabulous job. The floors looked great. I would say they are a great local company.
Description of Work: They put in new wood flooring in our living room, dining room and hallway.

carpet installation
 + -1 moreWe were not pleased with the end result of the installation of the carpet, but sometimes you just don't get it right the first time. Although the carpet was just beautiful, we had it installed for the kids to have a large in door play area. They had to come back and re-do a small part of the stretching, and we were pleased when it was all done.
Description of Work: I had them install carpet in my large basement.
