+ -1 moreYarbrough did work for our neighbor and approached us about completing our fence. Yarbrough stated the material & labor rates he would use to calculate the price; the rates were reasonable. However, we later realized that the price was not based on these rates. Yarbrough promised to start the job in 1 week and complete it in 3 days. The job started 2 weeks late and was completed 5 weeks late. At one point we had to answer questions from a Shelby County deputy sheriff who came to our house seeking Yarbrough. Yarbrough completed our fence with very poor quality. When we questioned the price and the fact that he did not leave behind materials as promised he threatened legal action with a letter from his father who is an attorney.
Description of Work: Clay Yarbrough's company, Sagewood Fence (previous name was Appletree or Applewood) installed approx 520 feet of 4-rail creosote plank fencing: this involved digging new holes, cleaning out existing holes, obtaining materials, setting posts, nailing rails, fabricating and installing gates. The fence as installed does not follow the lay of the land, fence post height is inconsistent and the rails are not at the correct spacing. Fence gates do not hang square and are not mounted securely. The fence does not match the fence Yarbrough did for our neighbor, which is why we choose him, nor does it match our existing fence.

+ -1 moreSagewood Fence Company did a great job on the fence. It looks great and is exactly how we wanted it. The dog loves a place to run freely. I was pleased with the service experience. They were easy to work with. I would recommend this company to others.
Description of Work: Sagewood Fence Company installed a wooden fence in our backyard. It is not a very big area, maybe around a 200 square-foot area. We are using the area for a dog run.
