The job was to stain wood fence. Either he ran out of stain before he finished the job or there was a problem with sprayer. My husband mentioned how bad it looked and was told that is just the way it does. We paid what was quoted (in hindsight I would not do that again) and we have another contractor coming to give us an estimate to correct this pitiful job.

Rod, is truly an exceptional and polite young enterprenuer. His skill set is beyond his age. From the very first time we spoke and he came out to provide us a quote, I knew that we were going to hire him. Do not sell his youthfulness short, his experience and customer service is beyond reproach. If I have another deck that needs restoration and fences I will call Rod!!!

I was not going to leave a review for Rods Deck Repairs until I found out he (owner of business) created a review in my name and gave himself 5 stars (spelled my name incorrectly and used incorrect email I am sure he found in google search). I appreciate Home Advisor checking reviews and hopefully they will catch more of his false reviews. I am adding pics and info for this review because I can not revise the review created while on the phone with Home Advisor. He did not tape off anything before spraying and paint is on the brick and siding of the house. He also ran out of stain and I had to give him more money to go get more stain - something I see that happened to another customer. He left marks in the deck from the power washer in 4 places. He was in a real hurry on both the day he power washed and the day he sprayed stain. I asked him in a text to not come to stain for a couple of days to make sure the deck was dry, but he did not respond to the text, arrived the next morning while I was at work and began staining. When I arrived home, he mentioned he received the text but came anyway. I do not feel the deck was dry enough to stain.

Rod is a go getter!! He went over and above to get the job done! He is highly Recommended if you need any service.
