I bought a house that had an island with an old appearing electric coil cooktop installed on an island. The strange thing is that the house did not have any type of hood or vent for the island electric cooktop. Obviously, that is a problem. It is also on a septic system, and did not have a disposal. I've had them before on a septic system, so I wanted one installed. I have always cooked on a gas cooktop, and since this house has a gas line for the fireplace, I wanted this cooktop changed to a gas cooktop, with the addition of a downdraft cooktop system. I also had previously had a disposal on my septic system, so I wanted this installed as well (this was a new install.) I could not be more pleased with the results. Both installations work incredibly well, and this is a company I am so very glad I found. Thank you Angie's List!!! And more importantly, thank you Renovation Crew for your terrific work!!!!!

I contacted the Renovation Crew by phone and Mr Tommy Roshto returned the call promptly and we set up a meeting at my home. He and his wife came to discuss what I wanted, they were very courteous and answered all my questions. Very soon afterwards I received an detailed estimate for the work via email. Between the time of the estimate and the time of the actual job start I called and emailed with numerous questions such as "How much would it cost to do this?" kind of thing. Tommy and Becky handled all of my questions courteously and prompty, and I added a few extra things to my job list. Prior to the start date, Becky Roshto contacted me and gave me the list of all the things I needed to choose, when I needed to have my choices made and where/how to do it. For things like the faucet and cabinet hardware, I had the option to buy those myself and they would be taken off the invoice. This allowed me to shop online and get exactly what I wanted instead of having to pick from local stores. For the applicances, I used a local appliance store recommended by Renovation Crew and was very glad I did. The person at the store was extremely helpful, I got good deals on all of my appliances, and the appliance store coordinated with Renovation Crew for delivery to my home. It was nice for me to not have to worry with that. Likewise for the granite and tile, the recommended vendors carried quality products and were very helpful and easy to deal with. I just had to pick out what I wanted and they did the rest. I had trouble deciding on my granite, so Mrs Roshto took time out of her busy day to meet me down at the granite yard and brought along her cabinet samples. I really appreciated that! We had numerous conversations on the phone during this product selection phase, and I was always treated with friendliness and respect and always felt like they were happy to help me (even though probably they were tired of hearing from me!). When the job finally got underway, everything went like clockwork. I had doubts they could start on Monday and be done by the end of the week but they did! All the guys were very courteous, cheerful and hard working. Little problems that cropped up were handled efficiently and they stayed right on schedule. It was a lot of fun to watch the transformation and I could not be happier with how it all turned out. My new kitchen is beautiful! I highly recommend Renovation Crew and I would not hesitate to use them again.

We would absolutely recommend the Renovation Crew for remodeling services. This is a family owned business and they are extremely professional and honest. They were timely and considerate. Renovation Crew was on-budget and on-time. Importantly, we did not receive any change orders. The quality of the work was very good and they were very responsive to our requests. We were very comfortable having them in our home and they were willing to listen to our requests and work with us for the best possible outcome. We recently sold our house and I can confidently say that the work that was completed added value to the home.

This is a small, family-owned business, and they work hard to earn and keep trust. Very prompt initial visit with estimate following very quickly. Becky's contacts with vendors made selecting tile, granite, sinks, faucets, and appliances so much less stressful; all decisions I made were relayed by the vendors to Becky and she took it from there. All materials were on site and ready to go exactly when promised. The bathrooms took about a week each, as did the kitchen. Almost as important to me is their follow-up. I had a few questions after the renovation and they came out and made a few minor repairs for me. They made it clear that I should call them if I needed anything adjusted or fixed. They were true to their word. I have several friends who have used Renovation Crew for bath and kitchen remodels. They have all been very pleased with the work. This is leading to an active word-of-mouth referral system. As the business grows, they have had to turn to subcontractors for some of the work. Those subcontractors were unfailingly prompt and professional, and did high-quality work.

We hired Renovation Crew to renovate our master bath. We were pleased and decided to renovate a second bathroom . Both bathrooms were completed in about 6 weeks. The owner, Tommy and his wife are nice people. I think they are very honest, and I left him and his crew (mostly his family) in my home unattended for short periods of time. The problems started almost immediately in the 2nd, upstairs bathroom. The first night, the sink leaked into the cabinet. The sink faucet jiggled. The worse problem was a leak from that bathroom into the kitchen below. For four months, the tub/shower leaked, flooding the kitchen and damaging the ceiling. The ceiling was cut and repaired 3 times. During the 3rd repair attempt, while the ceiling was open, water poured through the joists. Tommy and the plumber he hired had tried to tell me that my daughter was allowing water to run onto the floor, causing the leak. Not until the water was pouring into a bucket was the error found by the plumber and repaired. The plumber was most apologetic for having doubted the severity of the problem. Renovation Crew was generally responsive and paid the repairs, but it was a frustrating experience. Overall, the bathrooms are just okay. The caulking has separated from the cabinet. The paint on the cabinets started to chip within 9 months. The drywall is not as smooth as it should be. We would not use them again and could not recommend them for any major changes.
