R & A ROOFING

They were the ones who responded, followed through and came to do the job. The guy responded in a timely manner and came and did the work. The work was fine. If I had to have another roofing problem or anything, I would use him again. I called him on the 23rd of July and he came 2 days after I called him. He was trying to get here the same day. I had talked to him over the phone. He was on another job and he said that he would try to get here that night, but if he can’t he’ll be here the next day. He called the next day and said that he needed another day. I was fine with it because he called and kept me informed. He came out, gave me an estimate and did the work as he estimated. He did a good job. He took away all the debris. He gave a fair price for the stuff that he had to do. He cleaned up after himself. I think I found 2 nails, but he can be excused for those 2 nails. Everything else was discarded and he did a really good job. He came and did the work in one day. He came in the morning and left that evening. He was great. I would have liked the price to be less, but it was fair. My house is very old and it had 3 roofs on it and he had to take all that down, tear off the wood and put up new wood. He really did a lot of work so the price was very good. There was another company that had quoted a thousand dollars less because they had 20% Angie’s price discount for Angie’s List members, but they never showed up. The quality is very good. The roof looks great. The materials were great and people could notice the same. Somebody came to my house and asked what I did with the roof as it looked different. I told them that I had a new roof. He didn’t do gutters, but I’ve got that done and my whole house looks great now. I’m just going to have it pressure washed and painted. He was very punctual as he was here when he said he’ll be here. He said he’ll be here at 7am and he rang the door bell at 7am. He was very professional too.

He came out like he said he was going to and he sent me the quote. The only thing that I was a little disappointed with was the fact that I was under the impression that he was going to call my dad to let him know the exact time he was coming. If they told me when they were coming I was going to drive out and be there when they were there. They did a good job and they cleaned up everything afterwards. The price was reasonable.

The job was done according to our specifications and we are very happy with the results. They used high quality materials and it shows in the finished product. The workers were polite and considerate while working around our home and did a good job of keeping the yard clean while they were working.
