Punctual, friendly & informative. Although originally called for a diagnostic visit, the problem was discovered and fixed in about 20min with items Marlin had onboard his truck so it ended up as more of a 'service call' than an estimate. I highly recommend OLP.

Marlin called to set up the appointment to install several days in advance, which was appreciated. I wasn't here during the actual installation, but when I arrived home everything was perfect. I really would have never known they had been here, except I had these beautiful copper lights around the house and a few for my three Japanese Maples. He even wired the maples under existing concrete! Even though the company is located in Birmingham, they traveled to Tuscaloosa, and performed the job better than I expected. In addition, Marlin Bennetch drove back to Tuscaloosa at dusk to make sure the lighting was just right and that I was pleased with the job. I have to say, I was extremely pleased! THIS IS THE COMPANY TO USE FOR OUTDOOR LIGHTING.... NONE OTHERS COMPARE! The reason I know this is because there is nothing more they could have done to please me. The installation was perfect and the company is truly concerned about customer satisfaction with their product and service. It has been a couple of weeks since my installation, and I just LOVE my outdoor lighting. It was just what I was looking for, and Outdoor Lighting Perspectives is committed to providing you with the install that is tailored just for your needs. As a matter of fact, he quoted me the job that way. The base package price was separated from other options that I might like to add. I only added what I wanted for my needs, so the pricing can also be customized for your budget and still receive superb outdoor lighting. You can also add on later to the project as you like. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. They know what they are doing, and do it right!

Excellent results, fair price, good design work that really helped achieve the effect we wanted. Marlin and his team came out when he said they would, installed the equipment and the control system in the time estimated, and came back to adjust the lights twice. It was not cheap by the results were excellent.

Marlin and staff were excellent. He worked w me on scheduling, followed up consistently, was on time, provided a quick diagnostic of my lighting problems and completed the fix very quickly. I will use this company for future lighting needs. Very dependable - I highly recommend them.

Mr. Bennetch and his staff worked quickly and efficiently to lay the wiring and place the lights. My impression was that this was a team of competent men who were both experienced and comfortable working together. Upon completion of the installation, there was no evidence of digging or plant disturbance/damage in our recently landscaped yard. Shortly after the work was done, Mr. Bennetch drove by our home to view the lighting. He called the following day to ask if I was satisfied with the work. We both agreed to add a seventh pathway light. In addition to my satisfaction with Mr. Bennetch's design, I found him quite easy to communicate with. We discussed halogen versus LED lighting, and he persuaded me that I needed less lighting than I had been prepared to purchase. I have rated this work for price because it is required by Angie's List in order to post the review. I did not, however, seek competitive bids for this job. Outdoor Lighting Perspectives was recommended to me because of the type and degree of landscape illumination I wanted to achieve. So I don't feel that I can fairly assess this company's charges against that of a competitor.

Great company to work with. The owner comes over, gives you an estimate and you can do everything at once or some at a time. I did it in two steps as I was not sure how much light I wanted by my pool! He even ordered deck lights that I wanted to match the railing on my deck (black iron). He came the second time and put "up" lights on two Japanese Maples that grow up into my deck for extra safety and beauty.

Mr. Bennetch came out as promised and on time to provide us a proposal in April 2012. He offered many options, was very knowledgeable and very accommodating. Mr. Bennetch followed up, as promised, with a detailed proposal. He followed up with us several times to see if we had any questions. Simply because we had a lot going on, we did not have the lights installed until August 2012. We absolutely love the lights. They seem to add "millions" to our home! Our experience with Outdoor Lighting Perspectives was flawless. Mr. Bennetch is the consummate professional. He is very professional, thorough and absolutely delivers exactly what he promises. Always wanted outdoor lighting- called for infomation- they came out, showed up on time, gave an estimate and also shared very helpful suggestions-- accepted bid- work scheduled in two weeks -- crew showed up at the appointed time -- very impressed with the product -- very impressed that the crew cleaned up after the project to the point you could hardly tell they were here- project included new wiring that had to be buried -- impressed that they buried the new wiring and they did not tear up grass and turf and performed the project with a minimal invasion to the lawn -- they also did not interfere with the irrigation system --Once installed, the lighting looks great -- only wish I had it installed when I built the house seven years ago ! work performed and priced as expected with the estimate If you are wondering if you should add outdoor lighting to your home , just observe other homes in the community with and without lighting and you see the real difference - I particularly like having a timer to schedule my lighting needs and have the ability to control my electricity costs --

I called Outdoor Lighting based on a flyer they had left at our house. They came to meet with me within a day or two and then sent two different possibilities with estimates soon after. Once I decided to proceed with the installation, they were able to come in less than a week. The owner brought a team of capable and professional technicians. The installation went smoothly and was done efficiently. I was given instructions on operating the timer and adjusting the lights. The lighting works well and looks great! I definitely recommend this company to anyone considering outdoor lighting.

Outdoor Lighting Perspectives designed and installed landscape lighting around my home a number of years ago and have provided annual maintenance since that time. The individuals from this company are very professional and courteous. It was very pleasant working with them. They are very prompt in sheduling my maintenance each year and they show up when they say they will.

It went excellent. They are a great vendor and did a really good job. They were very good about communicating and being on time. They also explained things at the end so we knew how to use the timer.
