I called One Source after getting a repair quote from another HVAC company that told me my compressor was bad and tried to sell me a new system. One Source tech came out a few hours later and replaced a solenoid and had my ac cooling immediately afterwards. The tech was very knowledgeable and helpful.

+ -1 moreOur family was getting a new unit because the old one in our house went out late one Friday afternoon. Someone came out Saturday afternoon to do a quick fix. The decision for a new unit was made; so that Monday we would get the unit installed. My husband was told the tech would be there Monday at 8:30am. First person showed up at 9:15 am the second tech, who actually had the new unit, showed up about 20 or 30 minutes later. The techs were at our home all day literally, it was 5:30pm when they left. They left the job incomplete. Neither tech came to tell me the measurements for piece needed to complete the job was miscalculated nor did they try to tell me there was no filter and just taped up the opening where the filter goes. Luckily my husband came home while the techs were there to see how the job was coming along. The tech told my husband that someone from the office would call to reschedule to come out and complete the job. No one from the office called. My husband had to call a few times only to be told we had to be put on a waiting because we were not priority (there were people with no air). It’s going on two weeks and counting.

+ -1 moreI normally don't write reviews, but One Source Heating and Cooling instead saved me! My house was FREEZING and with a young child at home, I needed help fast. The office staff was friendly and helpful from the start, sending a service technician out shortly after. I even got a phone call when he was on the way, which helps so much when you have kids. Instead of trying to sell me a new unit, the tech was professional , and fixed our heat in no time. I could tell he was very knowledgeable about heating and air, and not just trying to make a sale. I am so thankful for the service I received, I even got a call back a few days later making sure everything was okay. I highly recommend them for any heating and air issues.

+ 0 moreAwesome.We have used these guys in the past for other houses, but since new ownership, it has gone to the next level. The attention to detail was superb. We needed an additional air intake made and installed into existing ductwork for maximum efficiency, and they did this all at no extra cost. They came back after install to check on the new system. The new unit was priced well, and the installation from start to finish was superb. As always, these guys seem to hire the best technicians, knowledgable, friendly, polite and so helpful. Wonderful experience. We really don't shop around on these guys, as we might save a couple dollars elsewhere from time to time, but the service is so good, I wouldn't use anyone else.

They underwent a change of ownership in the last twelve months or so, and the new owners have breathed a new life into the company. The technicians have always been superb, but the old owners left some to be desired. Since the new owners took over, what a difference

+ -1 moreOne Source was the best all around. Was real upset about my unit and me not having no money One Source installed a brand new unit and did not charge plus gave me my $29.00 svc back. They are very professional and care about their customers. I would recommend them to anybody. Several of my friends have called them since and has had very successful work done and was very happy with One Source. This is one of the best companies I have had at my house..

+ -1 moreIThe previous owner of One Source had replaced parts for my HVAC that I don't believe were necessary because the unit continued to give me major problems. Once I talked with the new owners they made every effort to make it right. They sent out their best technician, Jason, and he checked and double checked everything. Diagnosed the issue a bad thermostat and replaced it. Everything is working fine now.

+ -1 moreThey cold-called based on previous homeowner service contract. They said I needed service. Rescheduled twice and not punctual when they came. Worse, no service was needed (technician confirmed that on spot), but company charged for the "service" call which did absolutely nothing. Then they quoted a service contract price that was 3x what they quoted on phone. Would not recommend this company. Integrity seems lacking in office staff.

+ -1 moreWhile the first vendor we contacted did diagnose our problems and even offered some of the same solutions provided by One Source, we felt more comfortable with the knowledge of the initial technician from One Source, which is why we chose this vendor to complete our work. Our house is over 30 years old and some of the work that the service men had to complete was difficult to complete in only a "crawl space" but if they complained to each other, we did not hear any of the complaints. We do know that they had to work diligently at getting the ducts lined up, as well as getting the new unit under the house. In the grading, we assigned a "B" for cost because who wants to spend so much money? But, we do believe that the amount of work necessary to install the AC/Heat unit was worth the cost. And, we were provided cheaper options but we chose to select the more expensive unit. We were very pleased with the quality of the work - at least it was cool for the first night! Only time will tell about the heat unit but we have every confidence that if any problems occur, we can contact One Source for assistance.
Description of Work: Our AC was not cooling the house so we contacted a service company. The first company diagnosed the problem but we were not comfortable with their demeanor and unsure of accepting their information. Then we contacted One Source as the second opinion. Upon arrival, the technician checked under the house, measured output of the unit, cleaned the unit with water, and then re-evaluated the function of the unit. After that, he then explained the problem (which was the same as the first vendor). We were appreciative of his tone and the manner with which he explained our options. We asked about the cost for replacing a combination AC/Heat unit. He provided several options available for us and took his time answering our questions and concerns. When we decided to hire his company, he said he would contact his men right then - it was 5 PM. He said that they would be here to install the AC unit tonite. Four men showed up and worked until 10 PM to make sure that we had AC for the night (93 degrees). They then returned the next day to complete full installation of AC/Heat unit. On the second day, they worked for 7 hours.The work included: Built duct transition. Built return box. Tied in return runs. Ran new B-vent. Installed a disconnect for outside unit. Ram a new condensed drain out of PVC (which he dug under the house to complete). Sealed up ductwork. Connected gas. Installed angles in floor returns for filters. (Prior to this, our only way to replace filters was to crawl under the house.) Installed new thermostat. For both days all of the service representatives were extremely professional. They were considerate and even asked if it was ok to drive in our yard prior to attempting to do so.And each time they had to turn off the power or the AC to complete an installation task, they told us so we would know what was going on. At the completion of the work, the representative was patient with our questions and explained everything that we asked, as well as providing additional information for us.

They are quick talking and slick talking when talking about prices and they overpriced it by about $3,000. They gave me a runaround for about three weeks about returning money. I foolishly purchased the unit before I knew about them and knew about the price and found out later that I should have paid about $4,000 max. They put all these papers in front of you to sign while talking to you and like a fool I signed it. I just want to warn other people about this.
