Mr. Richardson has been in the carpet installation business for over 20 years and now runs several installation crews that install new carpet under his supervision. To make my comments short and to the point he is absolutely Marvelous and his price even more marvelous! By using an extremely expensive "stretcher" and slides under the heavy Mission Furniture he straightened out all the folds/wrinkles in approximately 1 hour and the cost of his services prompted me to ask if he was sure that was all he charged? Highly recommend as he and his company are absolutely superb and extremely reasonable in Price!

Michael was very courteous and did a super job expeditiously. He works after usual work hours.

One of my friends needed someone to stretch carpet in three bedrooms. I found this name for her And she called him. She had nothing but good things to say and asked that I write this positive review. Mike was very easy to get in touch with and made himself available to fit my schedule. He did great work, fast and affordable. After he was finished with my carpet, it looked nearly brand new!! I would definitely refer to friends.

I called Michael to replace the carpet on some stairs in a rental. After a discussion, some text messages and picture messaging, we decided to go with a nice berber based on the look, quality and amount of foot traffic the stairs would recieve. He came out several days later and got it all installed in one evening no problem. He also removed the old carpet and hauled away and even left me some remnants of the berber in case something happened to the floor afterwards. We couldn't be happier with the result. He does it the right way and you can tell. No loose carpet, it just looks sharp, it looks fantastic.Very professional and friendly. I'm very pleased with his recommendation on the carpet and would use Mike again for all my carpet needs.

He did a fantastic job from what I could tell. I was very pleased with how well Michael communicated, his responsiveness, and HONESTY. He was very flexible and worked very well with my schedule (worked on the weekends and on a holiday). Very accommodating. He explained what he was doing and didn't mind sharing his knowledge of carpet installation. I believe if I ever have any problems, he would come back and fix them. I don't anticipate to have any as I believe he did a good job. Michael measured each room and told me how much carpet and pad to order and he did a great job estimating and there was not a lot of waste. He was very friendly, he took a lot of pride in his work, and he was careful not to damage the new home construction during his installation (something that seems to be a rare find in contractors).

Michael was very friendly over the phone and was able to schedule my repair within the same day. He showed up right on time and immediately inspected the rooms to provide an estimate. After considering the cost of replacing the carpet, I was glad to agree to the very reasonable charges. He proceeded to bring in his tools and professional stretching bar (versus a basic "knee kicker"). He was very careful with the base boards and walls as the carpets were pulled up and stretched. With every job there is always a surprise, and Michael encountered two rooms where the original installer did not properly seal the seam and the carpet split about 16". While I began to panic, Michael remained calm and explained why this occurred and that it was easily resolved. Instead of cutting corners, he further split the carpet to fix the remainder of seam using a heat iron to avoid future issues. He tucked the carpet back under the base boards and ensured I was satisfied before wrapping up. He promptly cleaned up his tools and nearly half a garbage bag of carpet trimmings (prior installer didn't stretch nearly enough). I would give Michael a 9.8 out of 10, with the 0.2 deduction only for not vacuuming up the small pieces of carpet the naturally arise during trimming. One could argue that the homeowner would likely vacuum the entire room after anyway, so pointless, but regardless I hope this review shows that Nip-n-Tuck is your ideal choice for low cost carpet stretching! I have already shared his card with a few folks.

Our carpet in the master bedroom (especially), hallway and closet had formed ridges and we were afraid that it was the padding that was causing it and wondering if the carpet and padding had to be replaced. We called Mike and set up an appointment. He arrived and after looking at our problem, said that he could fix the problem. He restretched the carpet, cutting seams and repairing where necessary. He did a fantastic job on the carpet and said the quality of the carpet was very good and that we still had a few years left on its wear. Mike was very professional, did an outstanding job and I highly recommend his services.

I could not have asked for a more professional, talented, and affable carpet hero than Mike. He exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The job he did was top notch and I would definitely use him in the future. Mike is a guy who prides himself on doing the tough jobs that others either do poorly or not at all. And he's also someone who respects his work as his craft. Yours will not be simply a job for him - it will be an opportunity for him to solve a problem, and do it the right way. The only corners he cuts are those of excess carpet. :) I know this reads like a fake review. But you won't doubt me after you give Mike a shot.

They were very punctual and easy to work with. There were no lapses of downtime. Very pleasant to have work in our home. Did a fabulous job on the install. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Michael was quick to respond to my request for help, was punctual, and did an excellent job. I couldn't have been more happier...other than my puppy chewing up another area that will require Michael's assistance in repairing!

We are refurbishing a condo for sale and needed the carpet stretched through the entire condo. Mike returned my call promptly, was friendly and very flexible about scheduling the work, and we scheduled a day for him to come. On the day work was scheduled, Mike called to say he was on his way and he was at the condo before we were. His work was quick, professionally done, and VERY reasonably priced. I am very pleased with the results of his work and heartily recommend him to others. I will use him again, if I ever have the need.

Called and explained to Mike what I needed and set up a time. As I already had a carpet remnant from the previous installation he just needed to cut and install. I am a do-it-yourselfer but needed the job professionally done. I am glad I called Mike as although he made it look easy, it was only due to his expertise. He did a fantastic job. He is very nice and very professional. Our dogs had ripped a section of our carpet near the seam. He came in and was able to fix our problem in about 30-45 minutes. I would highly recommend his service.

I got estimates and Nip-n-Tuck was quite a bit less expensive. I had gotten their name from Angie's List. The whole process went smoothly and was completed in about one week. The job could not have been done any better. Mike did the work. He is very knowledgeable about carpet, pads and installation after 20 years in the industry. He has all the right tools for the job at hand. He found the exact pad to match the existing partial pad that did not have to be replaced. He kept me well informed as to when the pad would come in and when he could do the job. Mike is a perfectionist and worked hard to make the seams as good as it could be done. He was very organized and punctual in all his dealings with me. (Also a plus is that he is a nice guy.) I was completely happy with installation. Look no further- use Nip-n-Tuck. I surely will whenever I have a flooring need.

Mike was amazing! I had a section of carpet in a high traffic area that was worn and stained. The carpet was original to the house so we couldn't find the exact match. Mike took the carpet out of a closet to repair the worn area and replaced it with a very similar new piece. I wanted to pick out the replacement carpet myself so he actually met me at the store to pick up the carpet and took it to the house. His work was perfect. The area looked brand new. And since he had to take some doors off to replace the carpet smoothly, he even showed me a trick to fixing some stripped out screws on my door hinges. Mike was very professional and knowledgeable and just a really nice guy. I'm so glad I found him. I'm looking around the house for other carpet problems he can fix.
