The product and work are excellent. The vendor guaranteed complete satisfaction and he delivered. Pricing was competitive and fair for the product and work performed. Mr. Beaumont answered all of my questions and addressed all of my issues. The work was performed precisely as I wanted and as we agreed. It was a little hard coordinating getting estimates and re-pricing as the scope and scale of the jobs changed but that was partly due to my limited availability. This is a small operation. They do not have an e-mail address or a fax machine. All business is conducted face-to-face and on paper. It's a bit inconvenient but the payoff is that overhead costs are lower which enables them to offer better pricing. Service and communication is very personal and professional; I never felt like a "job." I know I can be a difficult customer because I ask a lot of questions and tend to get deeply involved in the technical aspects of work. This is often a problem for many business people who want you to give them carte blanche. Two points being: 1. Getting involved, asking questions, challenging assumptions, and being detail-oriented were not a problem for this company. They seemed to welcome an involved and knowledgeable customer. 2. I have high expectations and I'm not often fully satisfied. This vendor exceeded my expectations. There was no need for a call-back on either job. Mr. Beaumont is a very pleasant fellow though maybe a bit rough around the edges. However, he knows his business, his products, and how to provide excellent customer service. He takes his time and is careful and deliberate with his work. Once the contract was signed, the work was done quickly, efficiently, and correctly. This is the sort of small business one wants to see thrive.

Mr. Gutterman came promptly and did a great job. First he checked to make sure the work was even needed. When it was determined that it was, he added onto an existing downspout, matching the color, and running it away from the house as requested.

The workmen came on time and did all of the work in the contract. A few days after the work was completed, there was a downpour and althought the new downspouts worked fine, the repaired corner still leaked. I called Mr. Gutterman to ask if someone could come and make the repair and also put 4' extensions on the two downspouts on the front of the house. He sent someone back to make the corner repair and they installed the extensions at no additional charge. Everything has been working well ever since and I am pleased.

exceedingly dissapointed in quality of installation, also installed the wrong color (agreed on brown and installed white) no coverage on mitered corners overall a poorly executed rush job. For a company in business for 30 or so years (part of the reason I selected them) I was surprised in how non customer attentive they were in a number oif areas, including returning calls, pushing off install dates with no notice (otherwise I would have been there for the install and likely caught the wrong color before it was put on) and making a wrong situation correct and making things right with a customer I should have been suspicious that there were not any reviews here. I would strongly urge NOT to utilize the contractor for your projects I wish I had not.
