Mr. Appliance Over the Mountain

Well, after two techs and 6 visits, the icemaker was fixed and fridge side door gasket replaced. Long story - Tech #1 misdiagnosed the problem as door gasket causing the problem. Replaced it... didn't fit well. Replaced it again, the magnet came out of the bottom. After that, I requested another tech, named Marc, who was on the ball. Even so, with parts ordered, etc. it took 3 visits to get the icemaker fixed. Marc put the gasket on correctly and the fault was finally diagnosed as a cracked water line to the icemaker. I would use them again, for sure. They never gave up until it was right. After the first visit payment for the gasket replacement, they didn't charge anything for subsequent visits.

Both problems were handled quickly and well.

The service man showed up on time, as scheduled, and looked at the ice maker. I was afraid I needed a new one. However, the problem was just a stuck part that prevented the ice maker from "turning over" the cubes into the tray. He just straightened out and it's been fine every since! Felt stupid for not being able to do it myself but he just charged the service fee which was a lot cheaper than having someone try to sell me a new one.

Technician had to search for the correct part as we couldn't find the model number on the unit. He took the element with him and found a replacement in a timely manner. Was professional and courteous on both visits.

They were fine. They did a great job. The quality was topnotch. We haven't had any issues since. They came right when they said they would.

We were happy with them. They were very good.

The repair was effective. Everything has been working well since them.

The tech Sam cam out on time.... Fix the problem but ran into another problem a week later with the dryer. I call Mr.Appliacne back and they came back out, after the tech left the dryer would not heat nor rotate. I email the company and the the owner personally email me back and apologize for the inconvenience and let me know someone will contact me first thing in the morning which someone did. They ask me would I prefer a refund or another tech to come out, I decided to get a refund. Even though my dryer wasn't fix , the customer service was superb. I ended up buying a brand new dryer. I will definitely use them in the future, because great customer service is extremely hard to find these days.

He fixed it quickly (30 min). Total cost $270 part $40 rest is labor for 30 min work. I think that it is pretty stiff.

The belt on my 15 year old dryer finally threw in the towel. Not having much experience in dryer repair, I used Angie's List to contact Mr. Appliance. The technician was on time & very professional, but the correct belt was out of stock. He tried a similarly-sized replacement, which worked briefly, but a return trip was required when the correct replacement arrived. Overall, I was satisfied with the service, but it took a little longer to correct that I expected.

Repairman determined the problem,ordered the needed part and called me 4 days later to say the part had arrived. He came out , installed the part and was on his way! Excellent results! He was prompt, very pleasant and courteous. Charge was very reasonable. Will not hesitate to use them again.

Anthony Morrow came the day I called to report the problem. He diagnosed the problem (condenser needed vacuuming). He cleaned it thoroughly and checked seals, etc. We are pleased that we only required a $107 service call and not a $12,000 replacement. We've decided to contract for yearly cleaning maintenance and inspection,

We suspected the cooling fan on our oven had failed and contacted Mr Appliance for a Service Call. Danielle made the appointment and Troy, the technician, arrived on time. Both had informed us of a $79 charge for the call that would not be charged separately if we had a repair done. Troy quickly diagnosed the problem, found out when a new part would arrive and gave us a price for the repair. Within a day, Danielle called with possible dates for the repair. On the day of the repair, Troy arrived on time and quickly fixed the oven. It was an excellent experience.

When he started to work on the lights, he thought the fuse was blown. Turned out the whole computer board was blown. All lights in the lights and ice maker went out. He was checking the a replacement part out on his computer, he found out it had been discontinued, he crossed referenced the part and found one, the price of the part was really steep, he said for the price of the part and the age of the refrigerator it would be best to replace it. And we totally agreed, we just thought we could "put a band aid on it"and getting a couple more years out of it. Glad we didn't, I !get a new refrigerator!!! Yea. Rick Netherland was the best! Will definitely use use "Mr Appliance" (My appliance over the mountain) again! Thank You!!!!

Turns out I was using too much detergent in the HE washer. Just charged the service call.

I had them come out to work on a refrigerator. That was about four or five years ago.

Arrived within the scheduled window, although on the later side of it. But service was prompt. Tech explained what would be done, give the price, and replaced to part quickly and cleanly.

We're delighted-- we thought we'd have to replace the stove (it IS 30 years old, after all!!) because we couldn't get to the wire leading to the element. Josh was came on time, was cheerful, efficient , and effiective. The Angie's list discount really helped us out, too. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

The appointment was between 1 and 3 pm. I had not heard from them by 2:45 so I called. They checked and he was still at the appointment ahead of mine. I called again around 3:30 and she put me on hold to try and get an eta when he would be to my house. She got in touch with the repairman and he said he was getting finished up at that appointment. They called me around 4 pm to say he was on his way. He arrived around 4:20. He did a great job checking out the fridge and showed me a way to keep it running for a while without having to invest a lot of money in it. Would I use them in the future - I would if they could guarantee that they would be there within the appointment window.

Appointment was easily made for the same day. Chose a 2-4pm slot because I had to work. Office called at 12:30pm to say technician was on the way. I told them that wouldn't work, I was still at work. Technician finally arrived at 4:15pm. He was in my home less than 15 minutes then presented me with bill for $215. I'm definitely in the wrong business. I used this company to repair my washer in the past and they were much more reasonable. I think I'll be trying someone else next time.

I contacted Mr. Appliance on 7/6/2015 and a technician came to my house the next day. The heating element on my Kenmore dryer had gone bad and the technician had the necessary part on his truck and fixed the problem. I also had a broken wire fixed on a 28 year old Whirlpool double oven. The technician was very professional and friendly and took pride in his work. This was my first experience with Mr. Appliance and I was very pleased. I didn't get any other estimates for the job, but I would imagine the $320 to fix these 2 problems would have been similar for other repair companies as well. I recommend Mr. Appliance and will use them again in the future.
