Mr. Appliance Over the Mountain

The repairman came on the date and time agreed on. He diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts to repair the icemaker.I received a call saying that they had received the part and made the appointment to replace it which went they did. I was happy with the work that was done and would use this company again.

They did a fine job. The problem ended up being very minor but I am still happy with their work.

The installer was professional and friendly. He explained the repair and what was needed. Unfortunately a part had to be ordered. The office staff did not follow up with us as we expected on the part's arrival and scheduling the second visit. I found the overall experience positive, but communication from the office staff to be lacking.

This company was very professional. They responded to my call for service in a courteous and helpful manner. They scheduled my service at a time convenient to me and the serviceman arrived right on time. He was courteous, explained what he was would be doing, and was prompt in getting the job done. I would definitely call Mr. Appliance again. Something else that I liked was the fact that they sent a receipt for the work, via email.

Great Experience! Technician arrived precisely on time. Had part needed with him. Repaired the minor damaged part, bypassed the major part that was failing and recommended we start to look for a new machine, but left it in useable condition. He could have repaired both issues ( the minor caused the major), charged me a ton and I would have been "none the wiser" .Honesty Pays! I'll use him again and again! Also, we live way out, and there was no extra charge for the travel! Rare!

Ahoqws up promptly and knew what he was doing. He diagnosed one of the problems and I fixed it at he's recommendation. He did not have a part for the other problem, acknowledged that and gave me an estimate of cost. Part prohibitively expensive so will take another route.

Very clever and inventive repair person; fixed knob so I did not have to purchase an entire new panel. Arrived timely, worked quickly, and left space very clean.

My experience with Mr. Appliance Over the Mountain was a very positive one from start to finish. The lady who answered the phone was very nice while scheduling my appointment. Marc (the technician) arrived on time. He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable and went right to work checking out the washing machine. Marc quickly determined the water pump needed to be replaced. He had the part on his truck and was able to complete the job in a timely manner. I feel the repair cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Marc and Mr. Appliance Over the Mountain!

A young man (Sam) arrived within the agreed upon time frame, had all the parts that might be necessary to repair my washer - which would not drain or spin. The office even called me to tell me the truck was about 20 minutes from me so I got a little extra "heads up" from them. He promptly tested and showed me the problem. He replaced the switch that is engaged when the washer lid is closed - hooked it directly into the timer switch, and tested to be sure this did repair the problem. He took the entire cabinet off in order to accomplish this; but he did it quickly - and remarked that because my washer was in the basement with ample space for him to work it would go fast. I gave them a B rating on the price because the switch price is less than $25.00, and Sam was here less about an hour so I view that as at least $175 an hour labor. Pretty steep in my view, but for promptness and competency this company provided, I'm willing to pay their price again and again.

Turns out the technician (Marlon) knows everything about gas ranges. Ours is old enough that the parts aren't readily available, but that didn't stop Marlon. He dug in and reconditioned the gas valve. In watching over his shoulder, I learned how it got stuck and how to fix it. (It's not all that obvious and I learned there are lot's of ways to mess up.) This is the kind of detail-oriented work that most technicians probably wouldn't bother with -- pieces galore, springs, etc. But ordering a new valve wasn't an option and Marlon doesn't backdown. (Used to be in the Marines.) Even with me standing around asking questions, he got done quickly -- but without rushing anything. All in all, a great job.

I had an aging Kenmore washer with a broken timer. After checking several things the tech determined that it would require a timer replacement, which would be around $300 for my model washer. Rather than fixing the timer he nicely suggested that I may be better off buying a new unit. I appreciated the honesty and I will definately recommend them to my friends.

It went pretty well. As far as the work and stuff, they did pretty well. I emailed them and asked them if they could fix my dishwasher along with my sink and then they said they could. They were able to fix the sink but they did not do anything to my dishwasher because they said that they could not fix that appliance. I was really expecting to pay more than what they charged.

They were supposed to come between 3 and 5. I got a call at 2pm that the repairman was on his way. I guess it is better to be early than late. He was very courteous and professional.

.They were prompt when they came out. They were able to fix the problem right away, they did their part but they took care of everything. They were polite and their experience was nice and professional.

I have used this service twice after finding them on Angie's List. Both times they have been prompt, courteous, and reasonable. The first time I called we had a problem with our washer and they had someone at our house the same day. The repairman had the parts with him on his truck and fixed our problem quickly. The second time I used them they could not come that day, but came out a couple of days later when I could meet them at my house. The experience was the same. The repairman was very nice, and I will use them again if I need to do so.

We called because we noticed our washing machine was leaking. The technician arrived when agreed upon and was very professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly, which ended up being our plumbing. He even recommended a plumber that we had come out and fix the problem in quick fashion. Overall, we were extremely impressed with the quality service provided by this company - we highly recommend them.

Our fridge had not been cooling properly so my wife found Mr Appliance on Angie's List. They told her on the phone approximately what they believed the repair would cost based on her description of the problem. They came out quickly and what they believed to be the problem over the phone, the fan not blowing correctly, was indeed what was wrong with the fridge. Naturally, they had brought the part with them so they replaced it and were finished quickly. We've had no problems out of the fridge and I have since recommended them to a friend.
