We were referred to this mortage company after serious problems with Aliant Bank. We were very, very please with the handling of our mortgage and closing process.

I emailed Ben at MortgageBanc, and very shortly there after he called to touch base with me and get a better understanding of my situation and needs were. Ben and the entire staff were always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful through out the entire process. They were prompt and conscientious about making sure everything was documented and handled way in advance of any potential issue. I found MORTGAGEBANC LLC on Angie's List when my husband and I were shopping around for mortgage quotes for our first home. I went to MORTGAGEBANC's website and started an online application. Within one day one of the company's mortgage planners, Chad McWhirter, contacted me to discuss our mortgage needs/wants. He was very accommodating and agreed to meet with my husband and me early in the morning to discuss mortgage options and only presented us with loan options that met our risk profile (e.g. I'd requested no adjustable rate loans). Chad was very professional; he maintained a good mix of not "talking down" to us (we're professionals, but we're still just 24-years old) while still explaining the technical terms in detail so there was no confusion on our part. Also, Chad beat the other mortgage brokers' rates we'd been quoted. I will say that there was some doubt that we'd be able to get the rate Chad had quoted because of rapidly changing lending rules. But in the end, he worked hard, and we did get the rate as promised. Even if we hadn't, it was still over all a pleasant experience, and I would refer a friend to him and MORTGAGEBANC LLC.

Sam was very personable and helpful. He analyzed our individual financial situation and helped us secure the financing that best suited our needs. The whole transaction was so pleasant!
